Pack 1 pick 2, it is interesting how color plays a role in the pick. The Tanacious Tomeseeker is by its own more than respectable, but everyone found blue to be lacking in power.
Not only a 7-0, but later in the format against multiple mythic opponents.

I think this was the strongest non-Graff Triplet deck i've ever seen in this format so far
a few days ago i played against an opp that played gruff triplets on turn 5, then second gruff triplets on turn 6. that game didn't end well for me. lol

I went 7-1 with a blue/black control deck splashing white for Hylda of the icy crown and I also had her crown. In pack 1 I got passed her for my second pick and in pack 2 I got passed the crown for my second pick. I also had Rankle's prank and like a 6th or 7th pick horned loch-whale. I'm pretty certain I was the only blue drafter at the table.
Johan lets you cast the spell adventure part of creatures. So actually it would be quite good in the deck
I was surprised he missed that as well, but I suppose everyone makes mistakes. For reference in his final deck he can cast 16 cards from johan so 66% of his deck, not that he needed it.
Aren’t adventures always the front half of the card anywhere other than the stack?
@@bjlemay7748well, this is a tricky ruling, but Johan provides a continuous effect that lets you start the process of playing the spell. If you are interested details I think the channel Judging FTW just recently had a video on a this rule.

I've not had much luck with UW, even though I've felt my decks were very good. Low curves, even had the themed tap mythic once, 3-3 both times
max quality is showing 360p rn. not sure if it's still processing, but I can't read cards below 480p on my screen

The different resolutions become available as the file is re encoded and distributed to the CDN. RUclips must be struggling with this one. I can't even get it to start playing.
It looks like Google is not allowing browsers such as firefox access higher resolution videos, only in chrome. Extremely anti-competitive.

Lol, funny actually I was going to mention quick study as well as a good common i never see. Just checked my collection and I have playset of every common except candy grapple(3) and quick study(2), and only 3 of one other because it's bad and i never pick it. So, my mind is not just playing tricks on me :P EDIT: also worth mentioning blue black is my joint most drafted colour pair@@Simebag
Out of approximately 15 drafts, I've seen about 9 torch the towers, however my best draft i had 5 of them in one deck. It was also the first one and featured 7 ginger brutes in that deck. I thought I would be able to do that again, but not even close. Looking back, it was an extremely lucky draft. Goblin bombardment, impact tremors, a scalding viper that I enchanted with a curiosity, 3 raid bombardments along with the 7 gingers and 5 torches and although I only got to play it once, shared animosity. It was really fun to play and explosive. Came out fast, was able to go toe to toe with a couple really good decks and 6 times getting the goblin bombardment as the finisher. I do think I have been punished ever since because the next few drafts I won, maybe one game in the middle of 15 losses 😂😂 but really was a fun little deck to start this format with.
Above comment said it best, play a ton of drafts and you'll see it. It's just variance, and we're watching a greatest hits from one of the best in the world. Makes everything look easy
