This is a story out two gangs that was cool and was apart of a peace treaty but ended up going to war with each other after a death of a well loved female that Lafa would be named after

How it all started Anna Vera Nov, 23 1997
A 15-year-old girl gunned down in front of a Southwest Side high school had been targeted in a gang-related shooting, one day after she and her killer had "a confrontation," police said Saturday.
The girl, Anna Vera, was one of seven people slain in Chicago between Friday afternoon and early Saturday.
Vera, of the 5200 block of South California Avenue, was walking with two of her friends about 4:45 p.m. Friday when she was shot in front of Kelly High School, 4136 S. California Ave., police said. A former student at the school, she died of a gunshot wound in the back, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
On Thursday, Vera and the gunman had what investigators described as "a gang-related confrontation." The next day, the man targeted her.
