Very good job thanks for the video my Friend🙂🤝🤝🤝
Thank you too
Big bravo for the easy fix. Can I give you a little tip: after this procedure try to dip the motor in water for couple of minutes running at low voltage. It will clean all carbon in the armature and polish comutator contacts. Believe it will make it run even smoother. You will probs need to change the water couple of times until it becomes clear. Thanks for that video!
Thanks for the appreciation, I will try this cleaning as well.
Water in motor ???? Is that even safe to do ?
@@pillaydaryldeez3707 i did it to a gas electric pump in water, surprisingly it ran
You can also soak it in isopropyl alcohol or give it sonic bath. But it's only help you in case pins give you short with engine housing and that's why you have sparks.
I used eletronic cleaner spray on mine, and it got a lot of the dirt out, I used it until i saw saw no more dirt from all angles, and sanded the contacts as in the video above
sir, thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you saved me having to spend 60-80$ on the motor when the whole drill is less than that! thank you thank you thank you!
Give you a like . But next time try using a vice of some sort ,to hold the motor during test, as to not cause any injury
Thanks
Is there a brushless motor we can buy to replace the brushed RS550 from most drill machines?
What i should so if i want to avoid buying a new driller. I'm more or less comfident i understand the steps so thanks in advance (although I'm still unsure if and when I'll try it).
Sadly I couldn't get to open the back piece. You have better hands or nippers/pliers than I. Probably both.
@@Aptarus I also struggled with this but eventually got it bent with just regular pliers. Not very tidy but I was past caring by that point. Then to get it open I had to wedge a screwdriver into the side holes and pry it open with a lot of force (screwdriver even bent). Anyways, it eventually opened up.
@@croakingembryo great for you !
I ended up ditching the drill, my motor's backplate was far too damaged (and I'd spent too much time trying) but at least it made an interesting and enriching experience. I bought a brushless one so at least this won't happen again - something else will break.
(It's DIY year as I just had to replace my phone battery - this time with success, while 2 pro refused to try out of fear of breaking the screen)
Very good job friend👍✋💯
Thank you
Make Rs 550 dc motor rewinding video...... Plz
Great video, thanks! Mine had one of the brushes broken off.
Ну, заодно, налей масла в переднюю втулку.
How do you replace the brushes 0:04
Very good job thanks for the video my Friend🙂🤝🤝🤝
🤗
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Good job, thanks
Thank you too!
3 slot armature with a motor this size?
I have the same problem but mine also hot broken the direction switch, the red plastic piece that switches between forward and reverse. I cant find the spare, anyone knows where to buy it??
Cut a strip of sandpaper and cleaned the commutator through the top two holes without needing to open the motor ... gr8 video tho 👍
Looks fine 0:13
I have a similar motor for a battery operated mini chain saw. It will start and run but only if I set the shaft on a certain position. Most of the time when power is removed it will not run until I turn the shaft 30 degrees. Is this a commutator problem?
Go brushless R/c motor. No sparks.
Opa amigo tem algum grupo ? Mais dicas
Oye no se desarma el motor
Cool as heaven
como aser ese coso que tiene mucha potencia
