Say.. would it be possible for Rav Jr, to somehow get his arm back? Trolls are know for their superior regeneration. So my theory is this; a powerful healer who knows about trolls anatomy, some powerful magic? Maybe Rav Jr would have to go out on a journey to find some ingredients for this?

I always figured that Ravjr's hand was just crippled, not missing. With a crippled hand there is no reason one couldn't just lodge the bow into the hand and pull back the bowstring with their good hand. If that's the case, it's perfectly reasonable for him to be able to use a bow.
