Awesome find I use mine all terrain general stock settings atm I have found celtic, roman, and medieval hammered in the last 3 outings so I can say I absolutely love the manticore 👍
Hi. Great introduction 👍. But I have a question. The pinpoint function. When I use this on a shallow target. It is only detected on the edges on the coil? 🤔. I thought this should be in the middle of the coil 🤔

Ground balance is it necessary or will a quick noise cancel do. All I ever did with the equinox was noise cancel and go. Im searching in Scotland same as you.
Also I'm using all terrain low conductors any comment welcome.

What a fantastic save Ottis ( auto thingy always puts you as Otter) 😅 might try all metal tomorrow 😀. I'm very lucky up here in that I can run it full sens in most wee fields, although nothing at real depth yet but in this game you never know. In all the machines I've ever swung the control box on the Manyhoare (as Ivor calls it) is soo simple.! Time tae start playing with it now.😅👍

Is the manticore better than the nox 800 please or should i purchase the deus2? I've heard the deus2 is better can someone confirm for UK detectorist?
The Deus II is a great machine, and in some respects my personal opinion is that it’s better than the Manticore, but all round the Manticore has the edge on the Deus II, not to mention the simply fantastic user interface.
As for your question is it better than the Equinox 800, yes it is certainly better. I have thousands of hours on the 800 and I rate it highly. But after using the Manticore for a long time now it is a superior machine.
