- Hey Everyone! Hope you all are well? I'm back again today with another Valentines Day tutorial this time using mainly drugstore makeup. I picked up the Wet n Wild Heart and Sol eyeshadow palette because I thought it had the perfect colour selection for a fun Valentines look. Loved the q-tip tip for the waterline! It was like my whole world opened up when you mentioned and demonstrated that because I hate seeing the unintentional mixture when I apply my eyeliner. Will definitely use that hack! Truly enjoyed this tutorial and the result was really pretty on you! Thanks for sharing!
I use cotton buds so often in makeup they are just so handy! No brushes, grab some cotton buds. Need to tight line but don’t want to smudge the shadow, lift the lid with a cotton bud… the possibilities are endless 🤣 So chuffed to hear that you enjoyed the tutorial! I have a couple of the new ones. I also had the old ones and the older ones was way better it's almost like they didn't care and they do work but tou have to build them up more
I’m glad I’m not the only one so! It’s a shame because their old formula was absolutely class! Huge fan of Wet n Wild shadows in particular. As you said they do work it’s just a case of having to put more work in, shame! I’ll give the other palettes a go anyway and see how I get on! Happy Valentines 💕 x
If I did this look, I would look like I had an eye infection.
Just practice sweetheart. I did for a long time over 8 years at first I would do the look clean it off do it again over and over! Prarie makes perfect. And the most important thing is learn your eye shape and what looks best on your learn about your skin ton and your undertones figure out if your cool, warm, or neutral. What is your eye color look at the color wheel whatever is opposite to your eye color will make your eyes pop. So if your eyes are brown than blues will make your eyes pop the most, green eyes silvers and purples, and blue eyes are orange and bronze tones. You can look this up what makes your eye color look better. It really doesn't matter all looks good on everyone. Just practice and learn your eye shape! I hope this helps you out!!!
Amazing advice! Spot on! With the addition of the darker colour at the lash line (top and bottom) and the light bright colour on the waterline it helps to separate the pink from the white of the eye. When you’ve nothing in between definitely that could make the eyes look irritated. Adding in those little steps breaks it up a bit and prevents the eyes from looking like you’ve got pink eye 😅 x
