Well that’s strike two, might as well just do a give away lol! I suspect you’ll get your price eventually, it’s definitely a nice truck and I’m not a Ford guy so that’s hard to say😂
Very crazy that it didn't sell! By the looks of it, they did not have much people which is crazy too! Hopefully next time someone will want that truck 🤞
Wow Clint, from watching all your great Vids over the years on machinery, now this one......, both the wife (and my spoil sport bank manager) are very relieved you and all that great stuff are over half a world away !
Thank you! Pretty cool going back into my high school days and seeing the muscle cars I used to drool over. I couldn't afford one then and can't now! It was fun watching the show!
Looks like you fellas had a good time at the auction. Kevin really needs an El Camino. I love the old square body Chevy trucks, absolutely gorgeous and so was the Lamborghini Countach.
It reminded me of when I worked for the local Dodge dealer just out of High School, 1967-68 until Uncle Sam got me. The 440 chargers were fast but a 383 Coronet was faster, 127 MPH on the Denver-Boulder Turnpike one time only...
Boy oh boy, look at the eye candy!!!!!!! My, if I was ever able to, wish truck would be 1949 Dodge Power Wagon, OEM Restoration. Just like ‘em, no particular reason, I would even consider a full mod if done right. Thanks for the tag along sir, fun stuff.
I have a completely stock 1996 F250 4x4 XLT that I built myself. She is the love of my life and I would not consider a $50,000.00 offer. You do not let something like that slip through your fingers.
Good thing you had the reserve bid because that was definitely a low ball crowd for sure. $5,000 starting bid on the SlimJim car, not a good sign. Here in Hawaii that truck would sell for $50,000-$80,000 private because trucks are big here and availability is everything.🤙
Read in the comments it’s sold. Glad you moved it. Person that got it probably saved a bunch from not paying all the fees, commissions and buyers premiums they add on nowadays.
Time came and now gone was the highest interest in this OBS truck body style. Just a couple years ago, this same truck would of doubled that price. We who loved it still do, although with all the eye candy ford and other companies have done to their rigs have made it harder to not want one really bad of newer stuff added on... to just go get groceries in it. Its costly as you know to keep them looking like new and the next guy once over the infatuation of owning one will beat it down or sell quick for his next thrill. I hope that you are not too disappointed in its lower price... we hear of high prices on these rigs and come the right crowd, still happen
And that folks is why you put a reserve on your vehicle. Clint knows what he has and 20k ain't gonna buy it. Lol lo e the videos Clint keep up the good work
I drove a old diamond reo truck that had rounded hood and a brown light transmission. It was one of the best concrete trucks for the mud. You could walk faster than it rolled
Go to LOVE those Kirkham shiny aluminum Cobras. The bodies and some frames were made in an old Mig plant in Mielec, Poland. Kevin needs that 05 Gulf Heritage Ford Gt
Always love your channel Clint, great video to watch and I am sorry you couldn't sell your awesome truck!!! As always thank you for bringing us along on your adventure buddy!!!
Sometimes at those auctions, you can find good deals and then take them somewhere else and sell them. And sometimes you get screwed if you don't have a reserve cause your vehicle can go for nothing and that is not good.
Didn’t look like enough people there that day.I’m glad you had a reserve on it! It’ll sell, the buyers out there looking he just hasn’t seen it yet! 🇦🇺🍺🍺
I am not much of a fan for these high class televised auctions, they either sell for crazy stupid high or totally low ball. I had an eye on this particular auction because of one of the premier cars that was being auctioned, and I didn't see it in any of your clips. But they auctioned of the original Black Ghost Dodge Challenger. And I think that it caught many car aficionados by surprise that it fell well short of the million dollar mark anticipated. Good thing you stood by your reserve.
I loved this auction break…I’m just surprised that even though the spy truck didn’t sell, you didn’t buy something, anything, just so you could tell Mrs C that it wasn’t a wasted trip. She would’ve gone for that…I’m sure.😬
10:30 😭 I miss my 65 el Camino it was cream and had a 2 speed power glide. Paid 1500 for it & didn't need anything. I think it was 1990. Couple years later a guy kept raising his offer until I couldn't ignore it. 😕
It's a bugger it did not sell while you guys were watching the auction bro but I see in the comments it did sell so that is a bonus. The whole video made for great viewing. Safe travels
Reminds me of the time I road in the back seat of a new mustang when they were just coming out. I hated it. Every time he shifted gears (and he was taking it easy) my head was snaped back when he let out the clutch.
The white and blue cabover was at the Mecum auction in East Moline Il a year or so ago. I don't remember if it sold then or not. If I remember right it was set up to test noise output of the transmission.
Not 100% sure if that Dana test truck is the same one that was in a collection near me but the guy that had it told us it has a Detroit and all that exhaust stuff was to keep it quiet for testing. He also had a truck from The Shawshank Redemption and some pretty rare trucks. He got in some trouble and I'm not sure if he had to sell out.
Very cool. That black Chevy Custom Deluxe 20 short bed looks EXACTLY the same as the one I built way back. Well, with a red custom interior. Always regretted selling that thing. But the offers I got were ridiculous even back then. EDIT: Oh, damn!! They even did the same round chromed round stock bumpers I did!! My roll bar had double down tubes but good Lord does that thing bring back some cool “building my dream truck” memories, lol. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Man that thing is sharp. Roll bars were the thing in the 80s. Then they started making them 2-3 bars thick. I like the look of those old tire/rim setup compared to these monster rim sizes today.
Auctions are crap shoots. Sorry it didn't go. I am sure you will find the right buyer. Some beautiful cars there. I was surprised at how low some of those were going for. Not a lot of bidder there either. Maybe a sign of the time. Thanks for sharing.
My grandpa had a 3/4 ton custom deluxe just like the black one. Except it wasn’t lifted and had a 5spd. Maybe it was 4 speed with “granny gear” I don’t remember. But that sucker rode Rough. Couldn’t imagine how the black one rode🤦♂️
And someone who doesn't know what to do will park them without draining and drying out the systems, doing a preservation on the engine, get the weight off the tires and preserving those and covering them to keep the light off the paint.
Well now you know what Mecum Auctions are all about! Unlike the equipment auctions that you go to, many of these are televised, why you would want to televise a car auction has always baffled me🤔! But I honestly believe that somewhere in the US is a buyer for your truck at the price you want for it (whatever that price is?)
Well that’s strike two, might as well just do a give away lol! I suspect you’ll get your price eventually, it’s definitely a nice truck and I’m not a Ford guy so that’s hard to say😂
Truck sold just after that
Thanks
Hell that auction was about a 1/4 full , where were all the people ?
That was CRAZY fun you guys. Thanks for Bringing us along. I watch these auctions from time to time on TV, just dreaming.
I'll take that white Bronco.

Clint your right that green power wagon is cool
Like the auctions but more fun when someone has one in there.
Thanks for talking us along to get an inside scoop, Clint. 👍🍻
I loved that blacked out squarebody with the gold pin striping
I loved the 57 Chevy golf cart
I allways liked watching mecum on TV you gave us a lot more to look at Thanks Guys
Thanks for the ride along!
Looks like you fellas had a good time at the auction. Kevin really needs an El Camino. I love the old square body Chevy trucks, absolutely gorgeous and so was the Lamborghini Countach.
Nothing like a car auction to get your juices flowing for something you wish you could have but don't need.
Great video 👍Good call put a reserve on the truck and have a fun day out with the boys 😅
What a vehicle auction 👌.Thanks Clinton .A great video, to see all those classic vehicles !!!
Hiya Clint, since you're buying I'll take that Bronco @4:20. Thanks in advance 😂
Thanks for the tour, some nice toys that's for sure.
That car ride reminds me of my younger days car load of country boys in a big real car having a good time ❤
It reminded me of when I worked for the local Dodge dealer just out of High School, 1967-68 until Uncle Sam got me. The 440 chargers were fast but a 383 Coronet was faster, 127 MPH on the Denver-Boulder Turnpike one time only...

I WOULD GO NUTS, seeing all that good stuff!!
I loved this auction. .I've watched many auctions this was very light on people.. thanks for showing this..
Read in the comments it’s sold. Glad you moved it. Person that got it probably saved a bunch from not paying all the fees, commissions and buyers premiums they add on nowadays.
Thank you
Very interesting😊
Yeah, I do like the auction, let's do that now and again maybe once every 3 to 4 months.
Love that black Custom Deluxe 4x4. Maybe the Ford will sell. Nice video guys.
Time came and now gone was the highest interest in this OBS truck body style. Just a couple years ago, this same truck would of doubled that price. It brought the money soon after
They are still going up in value
And that folks is why you put a reserve on your vehicle. Clint knows what he has and 20k ain't gonna buy it. Lol lo e the videos Clint keep up the good work

Nice to see you guys at Mecum. Dana Mecum is the car auction king! Looks like you really enjoyed it. Thanks, Clint.
WHAT A LOT of real cars! Jaguar, Ford GT40, some ferrari, .....WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
So many awesome cars and trucks. Thanks for sharing.
I definitely had the Countache poster...white!
That’s a great video keep them coming please
Involuntary jaw-drop.. and good to hear such hearty laughter from you fellas 😆
$12k for Honda 90 (posty-bike). Here used car and trucks go from the auctions to the car yards. Hint, they're cheapest at the auctions.
Best part was the old dude slinging that hellcat around. Where some other cool rides there.
Great video. I watch Mecum & B-J auctions on TV a lot and have wondered what it was like behind the scenes. Thanks.
Liked the auction. Eye candy 🍭
Good video! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
Some good looking rides there. Said it before, wish the white truck was diesel. Would try to find a way to bring it to SC
Sometimes at those auctions, you can find good deals and then take them somewhere else and sell them. And sometimes you get screwed if you don't have a reserve cause your vehicle can go for nothing and that is not good.
I watch Mecum when ever it's on TV.
Didn’t look like enough people there that day.I’m glad you had a reserve on it! It’ll sell, the buyers out there looking he just hasn’t seen it yet! 🇦🇺🍺🍺
Lots of cool rides in there , Keven needs a dry shirt change. Keep them coming.
Clinton I must agree w/you. If your going to buy a retired NASCAR it must be a T-Bird.

🤔 hmmm… I’m not falling for it 😂
A lot of ballast in that Dodge!
Cool auction the test drive that you guys went on really looked like it would have been fantastic to go on. To bad your truck didn't sell
Need more ride alongs
thanks for sharing 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Now we are cooking!! Cheers!;-)! Ya!!!

I sure hope we can see more this, as you have time. Your videos are top notch, interesting, fun to watch. 🇺🇸
I enjoyed seeing all these cars at the auction. Maybe you could include some more of these episodes
Crazy getting rid of that OBS
Clinton, you need a Revology 1967 Shelby GT500 and get Kevin a Power Wheels Rainbow Unicorn Jeep Wrangler to tow his mini excavator and skid steer
Lots of fun
Tell Kevin there is a el camino down the road from me for sale. Sweet ride.
Reminds me of the time I road in the back seat of a new mustang when they were just coming out. I hated it. Every time he shifted gears (and he was taking it easy) my head was snaped back when he let out the clutch.
Great video Clink, a change from the shop for sure wasn’t excepting a Mecum Auction good thing I don’t live where you do might be a barn full of fun🤣🤣
The white and blue cabover was at the Mecum auction in East Moline Il a year or so ago. I don't remember if it sold then or not. If I remember right it was set up to test noise output of the transmission.

There's a couple of them around the country
57 model golf cart
I want to own a mustang gt badly. not the new one. the older one. nothing compared to those.
Awesome!
One of the few things I watch on tv is the auction. I get more enjoyment out of watching your videos though by far.
I can picture Kevin at the shop next week trying to auction thing's off to the boy's 😂 lol
Deja vu.😊
would like to see you at more auctions please
I had three countach posters on my walls. Red, black and white and all with spoilers. I’m humble though just give me the GNX Grand National.
Would have been nice to up close auction
Hi clint so many cars an trucks there i like thanks for the video . Cheers mate🇦🇺
nice video. all those muscles cars in a row..... Wow something you will not see in Europe. They would be 40% up in price..
My 6th grade teacher had a ElCameno just like that one same package and same color as that one the brown one
Very cool. That black Chevy Custom Deluxe 20 short bed looks EXACTLY the same as the one I built way back. Well, with a red custom interior. Always regretted selling that thing. But the offers I got were ridiculous even back then.

WOW 😃❤❤👍
You are a surprise Kevin with the El Camino buy it for him and pay you back through the years😮
The saddest part is most of those cars, trucks will never see daylight again. They'll be part and looked at never driven
And someone who doesn't know what to do will park them without draining and drying out the systems, doing a preservation on the engine, get the weight off the tires and preserving those and covering them to keep the light off the paint.
Wonder what the black square body went for?
cool stuff
I had a white one on my wall till I was about 14 yrs old lol.
Sorry the Dorfman didn't sale! But thier was a few sweet old broncos thou! And a few beautiful pony's too! And one jacked bow tie to boot! Lol
Kevin is the adult version of Bobby Hill from King of the hill! 😁🤣😂
That old White may have been an early Jet powered truck...
Looked like nothing was selling at this auction, maybe try another one, didn’t appear to have many buyers there!
Well now you know what Mecum Auctions are all about! Unlike the equipment auctions that you go to, many of these are televised, why you would want to televise a car auction has always baffled me🤔!
