Anyone else find it really wholesome to see how happy Bachira when Isagi joins his team?
I dunno.... I mean guy was about to leave Isagi behind. Bachira at this point, did kinda annoy me with his back and forth with Isagi. Told Isagi he wouldn't wait, but then refuses to face another team until Isagi arrives. Panics when he thinks Isagi wouldn't choose him, but when his team wins, he's ready to discard Isagi, only to then accept Isagi joining Rin. He really needs to pick a lane and stick with it. He's ok with abandoning others, but doesn't want to feel abandoned.

Bachira’s thought process and development was essentially a healthier parallel to Reo’s development with his relationship to Nagi.
Bachira was essentially concluding, I'm okay with choosing Isagi, because I know I can develop without him. I can stand on my own if I need to.
Think of it as a romantic relationship, if that helps. Yes, it's good to rely on your partner, but you also need to grow outside of them and be your own person. If your entire life is only served supporting your partner, it's unhealthy and detrimental to your own development.
It's a beautiful arc for Bachira. A balance of both the ego to stand alone if the world chooses not to follow you and the acceptance of others who chooses to follow you.
It's a dichotomy that Bachira’s entire character focuses on.
The guy who voices ego is absolutely killing it.

One of the best dub animes for sure. It's mostly because of isagi VA he be carrying
🧢. Subbed solos. Rin and isagi dubbed are carrying the whole show. Actor could've done better or they could've casted different VA's to fit the role. Not sure which but it's not the best by any means.

It makes the way he talks and annunciates sound off, and if not for that, I feel like I would’ve better received him in the role

Because the first stage of the second selection was figuring out how to score against Blue Lock Man. Everyone who has appeared since then could (even if, sometimes, they don't).
If I recall correctly, he did save a shot from Naruhaya.
That said, it is only able to save shots from hypocrite shooters. Those elite players already past the point of struggling with the Bluelock goalkeeper.

It's not bad, but I feel like the dub could've been better. Some of the VAs seem to be trying too hard to match the tone of the scene. As a side note though, I really feel like Bryce Papenbrook would've been the perfect English voice for Bachira (Bryce has voiced characters like Meliodas and Rin Okumura)
