First time staying here as a convenient way to sleep overnight before flying out the next day. We had no pre-conceptions about what to expect except for the room design. Did it exceed our expectations, watch to find out!

What Marriott status do you have to have to be upgraded?

So when we were gold we did manage to score a suite but this was on a 5 day stay in Canada. However since becoming Platinum we've been having better luck.
Just note a lot of our travel is outside of the USA where you can get Platinum status from a credit card.
Gold - higher catergory 💛
Platinum - suite 🧡
Titanium - higher category suite 💚

Does one have to leave the airport to access this hotel? I thought there is an entrance from the airport?

There is a covered walkway we used on the same level as the reception. If coming from the terminal you need to go up a set of escalators to access the walk way.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the airport. You can catch the train to Amsterdam which takes 20 minutes.
