Sir, Thank u so much for the tutorial. It really cleared my lengthy doubt list finally but, I want to ask you to help me with one more important topic which i am sure every begineer is confused about. And that is setting a basic volume balance before starting the mixing or so called a " Static Mix ". I am really bad in setting the levels so can you please help and teach us to set the basic levels and also clear the basic criteria for setting the vocals level with the rest of the mix.
I know its a long question and comment to ask you sir but can you please make a video on that topic too !!!!😊

The easiest way is to just bring the overall volume of the tracks down

Music track ke hisaab se balance karna…iska koi set law ya rule nahi hai ki itna hii level rakhna hai…track ke level mein voice achche se baith jaani chahiye bas wahi sahi voice ka level hai

@@goodstatus5993 usually around -9db ke aas paas levels hona chahiye when recording anything…but yeh again, koi rule nahi hai…it completely depends on what you are recording.

Same process gain staging ka kar sakte ho…aur levels agar clip ho rahe hain toh balance karne ke baad sab tracks ko select kar ke levels neeche kar do

You have to gain stage before starting your mixing and NOT when you are producing music…it is a pre mixing process

Ya toh woh record theek nahi hua hai…ya bahaut zyaada processing ho gayi hai…inn dono mein se hii kuch hua hai…
Voice ya koi bhi Instrument Recording ke waqt apne DAW pe dekho ki -9db to -6db iss ke oopar level nahi jaana chahiye…iss level ko apne audio interface se control karna na ki DAW se…audio interface ke mic input ke gain knob se control kar ke apne DAW pe jo track assign kiya hai record karne ke liye wahan yeh DB levels set karna

Need your help. I frequently listen to music or conversations that appear very loud even at a low volume setting of the knob, say 4/10, but whenever I record music myself, reaching 3dB peak in the DAW ,appear very low even at high volume, say 8 or 9/10 when played back. The first mentioned louder song /voice also reaches around 4-5dB in the DAW. Why this difference in loudness with same dB? How can I get a louder song without clipping/distortion not recorded above 3dB. Can we have different LUFS at the same dB?
Reaching 3db peak on the DAW meter will not always bring out the loudness…you will have to achieve this by reaching it’s sweet spot ie: 0db on the VU meter…also, when recording vocals/instruments try to reach about -9db on the DAW meter…apply the gain via your audio interface’s mic input knob, without changing the volume on the DAW meter…let the output on the DAW sit at 0db on the recording track as well as on the stereo out…try this…it might help!!!
Also, a lot depends on how you are processing your audio signals…are you compressing too much?
You should also look at using Saturation.
@@NishadhChandraProject I use old Audition 1.5 that suffices my home recording needs. Can the VU meters you mentioned displayed in it? VU meter for input stage or final output stage? What is 'saturation'? Can LUFS help? I also have Audacity. Can I do the things you advised in it? Thanks 🙏
@@ektabajelok yes the VU meter shown in this video should work…it is a free plugin that’s the reason I have used this one for the video so it is easily available for everyone to use…download it and just follow the procedure shown in the video

Brother I have a question,misaal k tour py mery saray tracks -18 to -10 py gain staged hai aur eik piano hai jo bhot loud hai, even though maine usay -19 py set kiya wa hai but still wou sb tracks se bhot loud hai,ab agar input se neechay kru tou msla to nhi hai?
