@1:18 I said the 3.5mm headphone is for "wireless" monitoring, which obviously makes no sense. I think I meant to say latency-free monitoring

Great and relevant production! This is amazing. Also I saw a lot of people reviewing these type of microphones without reviewing it's stereo mode. Are these microphones very bad at stereo?

Thanks! These USB microphones usually record in stereo by default by which they just fill the left and right channel automatically. But I think that's pretty standard, or typically what you'd want to do with a vocal track anyway

Depends on the audio output (Speakers, Headphones with or without a DAC)...Yeti has more depth with a lot of bass & mid while I can hear Movo highs are a bit stronger over the "Blue Yeti" but it's comes down to the user preference the winner for me is the "Movo UM700" cause I have deep voice an always have to adjust highs more often while Yeti my voice sound like I'm talking inside of a cardboard box (again it's the users preference).

Absolutely, I'm always interested to hear a different perspective. Audio can be very subjective and there are so many variables, both in how a mic is recorded and, as you pointed out, how the recording is listened to. But I'm glad the UM700 works for you, I do think it's a quality product and I've seen at least one other RUclips reviewer who prefers it to the Yeti

Could be great to know how you successfully have free gear at your level of subs. My other channel is in the same niche than your and around the same number of subs.... thx !

Are you asking how I'm able to get free gear? Honestly, just had some companies reach out to me. Mostly nothing that I'm interested in, but a couple relevant ones like MOVO. I've only had two free products sent my way so far 😅

I've tried contacting companies that I'm interested in, but so far, no luck

@@PhillipRPeck : that's what I thought. Companies do not like when a channel is small like mine. Thank for the tip! If ever you feel curious, my main channel is 'dslrdave'. Cheer!

Cool man, I was going to ask. You're probably right on the cusp. I had some companies reach out to me when I was under 1000 subs, but they weren't offering the kind of products that I'd normally feature on my channel. I also think it's because I do a lot of product reviews whereas it seems like you feature more setup type videos. I could be wrong. I'm no expert at this!

With everything you can get for 200 usd and everything you need on top of the Blue Yeti itself to make some good use out of it: Yes it is time. It has been high time for years now. But another USB microphone, will not give you the value of what I am talking about. My last try in going cheap: Behringer BA85A, Behringer UMC202HD, Shure A55M, Shure A58WS, Cordial CTM 5 FM. Awesome. Get yourself a microphone floor stand and that’s that. I’m keeping my Blue Yeti around only to talk about it.

yeah same here - I think the blue yeti is overrated compare to 30-50$ mics...
