    Hats off to you Martin for taking the time to do this, it's certainly a big undertaking! (No pun intended) Hopefully some others will hear about your clean-up task and you'll get more helping hands. 👍🙂🙂

    I hope that others see your efforts and become inspired to follow your example. I like that we get to know you better and see this compassionate side of you. I wish you only the best.

      Thank you so much. I think that it might grow organically somehow, with me leading by example. I talk to everyone I meet here and they all praise my efforts. Maybe I'll talk with the local priest and we can organize something bigger. He has a voice after all and his church is right next to this cemetery. Oh, you'll know me better, especially with my new channel now. Thanks for watching!

    So that foam spray is lesser of a cleaner than a protectant, wonder how's the cute fat robin.
    After your first episode I wanted to try this and surprisingly can't find a children's graveyard. While walking around an derelict graveyard I fell down a hole to the knee through the grass behind a headstone. Not sure what part of the body I stepped on but that had to hurt. Whoever it was didn't follow me home to return the favor, thank goodness. Apparently many of the graves here are shallow, 3ft/1m or so, I can see the impression of the rectangular depression. Literally the grass above is concealing a hole. I think it oughta be deeper, unless the water table is really high.
    Did you buy those flowers or were those in the rubbish bin as well? I was surprised people throw those out. Almost never see fresh flowers that were tossed while its flowering. Those are lovely flowers! I would have been unsettled... deeply unsettled... if there was a hamster in there just randomly set there in an derelict graveyard in that overgrown area.
    thank you so much for making this. I don't know how to ask for permission either. I don't work with the dead, Grandma used to say they can read your mind, if you go there in genuine good, pour a little drink, sprinkle a little rice, they won't cause trouble so long as they're well fed.

    For more work, I guess you need the trimmer. Do you use somekind of product to clean the weathered, blackened and covered with vegetation, graves? I've seen videos of people using a D2 solution for cleaning gravestones. It makes them look like new🤔

    • @MartinsGraveyard
      @MartinsGraveyard  4 дня назад +1

      I heard about the D2 alot now. I'm using some pavement cleaner and it works great but needs time to kill off the mould.

    I think I can see the limitations of using a string trimmer gas or electric. What about using a scythe to clear the ground?

    • @MartinsGraveyard
      @MartinsGraveyard  6 дней назад +2

      There's a lot of Ivy there, and I would probably break the scythe in the first five minutes. I'll try different things.

      @@MartinsGraveyard yeah you're probably right. But it sure is fun to use one in grass.

    Maybe it was the child's pet hamster's cage and it was placed on the grave????

    • @MartinsGraveyard
      @MartinsGraveyard  6 дней назад +1

      That child died half a century ago.

    • @sarafleming9893
      @sarafleming9893 5 дней назад

      @@marquese1960 I agree. The child/person passed away, then later the pet that was in the cage. The person taking care of the pet took the cage to the cemetery so the pet’s spirit could join the (passed) human in the next life. 😊
