- Actress, who starred and who co-starred as Benita "Benny" Lopez (nee Diaz), the mother of the title character on the popular television sitcom series "George Lopez," also known as, "The George Lopez Show," from 2002 to 2007, and who also starred and who co-starred as Lydia Markham on the original version of the popular television sitcom series "Perfect Strangers" from 1986 to 1992, and who also played Mrs. Kinetta in the legendary 1997 black comedy crime film "Grosse Pointe Blank."

She had an uncredited role as the Nurse in the Golden Girls when Dorothy is afraid of getting surgery. Then she comes to her senses when the actress that played Mrs. Steiner from Mrs. Doubtfire tells her she was afraid too.

So good to see her. Great actress too bad she's not acting anymore but at least she's sharing her talents by coaching. She looks fantastic! It makes me sad to hear so many talented show business people mention meditation as opposed to praying to our Lord because God gave them the talent.
It’s wonderful that she’s been coaching other actors throughout her career. I recently saw that she was a coach on the 1998 remake of “The Parent Trap,” in which Lindsay Lohan had to play two characters. Maybe the right role will lure her back to the screen. Thanks so much for commenting!
