I went 15/45 on my TW and I love it. There’s still plenty of torque and the bike is much calmer at higher speeds. 55 mph is actually pleasant.
I ride mostly on the street and I weigh 315 pounds.

@evvignes nice, another success story. Yeah I'm a fan of this gearing for sure. Works out real well. Factory gearing is great too don't get me wrong, but I feel like this setup makes it a little more usable on road and with 1st gear still so short, your still gonna motor up pretty much anything.

Yes, I went up the side of a steep levy in first gear with no problems.
