    Fantastic bit of motor racing. If someone asked me why I watch V8 Supercars over motorsport X, this video shows why.

    The engines and transmission sounds so good here. The older hollinger gearboxes and the H pattern shifting combination.

    this is whats missing today. close, hard fought racing. no contact and total respect for the other drivers! none of this finish where you qualify crap that is almost like F1
    bring the cars of 03-09 back!

      The complete format of the spec cars is just wrong and fucked, it's ruined racing everywhere it has been instigated. All to satisfy manufacturers so they always end up with points or podiums, and fuck the fans.

    Compare this to this year's V8 races at Albert Park. I say bring back early to mid 2000s racing

      Well if you put a car that has no pace in front of a bunch of cars with pace, something like this is bound to happen

      And another thing was back then it was a non championship event so they can let loose and go crazy but now it’s a championship event so it puts that extra pressure on finishing the race for actual championship points

    What on earth is Murphy talking about? Does he expect Skaife to just move over and let everyone through?

    • @351clevelandmodifiedmotor4
      @351clevelandmodifiedmotor4 Год назад

      yup , skaifes blocking obviously can't keep up with the pace so he crashed into lowndes, this sport is super bias against Ford, it's a set up, it's like a t,v program where holden is the hero good guys and Ford are the bad guys , but the holden cheaters and bias ones are the bad guys and where is holden now??????? DEAD Ford is very much alive and still in the v8 supercars , Chevrolet will never ever catch up to Fords victories in this race competition, and Ford has more race wins than all other manufactures combined , and the model t is the most successful car of all time and the Ford sierra RS cosworth is the most successful race car of all time , and the Ford GT is the fastest production car of all time 318 mph

    Lowndes should've just jammed it up the inside of Skaife. He had the room to do it and was being held up

    Blue flags are spoiling racing. Unless it's obvious some one is intentionally slowing down a car to benefit another driver let them battle it out. The result is exiting racing as seen here.
