One of my favorite pieces ever, I’m so excited to do a play through of Camille Saint-Saëns’ masterpiece, “Danse Macabre”. This version is on “One Dark Night...” and we play it at every performance. While it is a classical piece without dispute, the sections move around almost prog-like. It was such a fun tune to get under my fingers and I hope you enjoy it.

According to legend, Death appears at midnight every year on Halloween. Death calls forth the dead from their graves to dance for him while he plays his fiddle (here represented by a solo violin). His skeletons dance for him until the rooster crows at dawn, when they must return to their graves until the next year.
Danse macabre, Op. 40, is a tone poem for orchestra, written in 1874 by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. It premiered 24 January 1875. It is in the key of G minor. It started out in 1872 as an art song for voice and piano with a French text by the poet Henri Cazalis, which is based on an old French superstition. In 1874, the composer expanded and reworked the piece into a tone poem, replacing the vocal line with a solo violin part.

This is such a great cover! You're one of the main artists I listen to regularly (and essentially all I listened to in high school) and I love that you keep putting out these amazing tracks. i just discovered you a few days ago, and i absolutely fell in love with your music, especially I'm Alright. ive played guitar for a few years now without any tutoring, so things have been going slow, if its even moved, but now im finally taking this seriously and ''im alright'' would be the dream song to play.
if its not to much to ask for, do you have any tips for beginner-intermediate guitar players, something you wish you knew or did earlier?
right now, im trying to learn the fretboard and all the notes, and then im going to try and learn the major scales.
and also playing clean, im upping my standards now for when you acctually learn a riff/song. *you havent learnt a song if you cant play it clean*, or atleast thats what im trying to do.
