Oleg Bryjak is superb in his role as Dikoj, not only a great singer, but a fine actor. He had a great career ahead of him, and he will be much missed. Katya confesses to her affair with Boris (Dikoj's nephew), then goes out of her mind and throws herself into the Volga.
