With nuts - I used it to chop them to make a yougurt mousse. I guess if I added some water or bit of oil the nuts would grind into a paste. I will try it next time.

I just wash it with sponge right after use and it works out fine for me.

Its not suitable for dry nuts.

Be careful as there is a smaller version of 750w with smaller bowl, smaller chute hole, and less power. Not as versatile as 1000w version.

Awful product. Broke very soon after purchase. Inner handle and lid grew mould inside as there is no way of accessing to clean. GROSS!
