- Lambeau Field is an outdoor athletic stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the home field of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. It opened in 1957 as City Stadium, replacing the original City Stadium at East High School as the Packers' home field. Informally known as New City Stadium for its first eight seasons, it was renamed in August 1965 in memory of Packers founder, player, and long-time head coach, Curly Lambeau,[1][2] who had died two months earlier.
The new 15,000 square foot, two-level Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is conveniently located on the main floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium, across from 1919 Kitchen & Tap. A tribute to the greatest story in sports, the new facility uses the latest technology, enhanced interactive displays and a treasure trove of artifacts to educate and inspire visitors about the rich history of the Packers, as well as the teams of today. - Спорт
Lambeau Field is a compete gem. Amazing how they added on to it over the years.
Tomorrow, as a New England born Packer fan of 26 years, I make my first pilgrimage to Green Bay. I have tickets to take the Legends tour on Thursday. I've never been more excited in my life.
Sounds great!
@@DanVanevenhoven it was the best week trip ever. The wife agrees that it beat our honeymoon! Lol
Best Lambeau Field video on RUclips
Thanks
As a danish Packers fan, I just wanna say thank you for this video, because even though it is my biggest dream to go there and experience everything lambeau field has to offer, I highly doubt that I Can find the right time for me to go there, so unless I find the time this is probably the best behind the scenes at lambeau I Will see❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was awesome, definitely worth a look, so much history 🏈
You should take the tours again. All those white walls are now covered with amazing pieces of artwork celebrating the team, the history and the fans. Lambeau Field is a place of beauty!
I am from indonesia and also the green bay fan,i love the green bay packers history.
I will put green bay at the map
GO PACK GO
Thank you for the video. I wasn't sure which tour to go on, but now I figure mine as well go on the "Championship" tour. We will be visiting Lambeau Field in June. Thanks again.
the leroy butler tour is the way. but its not even publicly offered. its a mvp thing usually reserved for famous people or businesses that are involved with the pack.
I was there in 2007 before the current additions were made. I must agree about the length of time you spend there. It is definitely an all day visit.
Great video
Thank you, Dan. This is a very special place in Sports!
I've been to five games at Lambeau and every time, it was just awesome walking up to the stadium.
we need leroy butler giving the tours. or better yet some leroy butler/sterling sharpe tandem
I love the 4 salty bears fans that disliked
Jake Buckner we birthed u tho
Just here to say Da Bears.
Jake Buckner now 7! 😂
you’ve shown great empathy to love bears fans. in reality i bet the downvotes are from people who woulda liked to hear some of the stories from the tour guides. and not just random visuals
A bear, viking,Detroit, cowboys fans dislike this beautiful video .
9:40 we gonna need a new trophy case packers going all the next in a couple years
Lambeau Field kinda looks like Pacaembu
Can you stop and take pictures?
Is it weird that I live like a few blocks away from the packer stadium and I don’t give a shit about football.
miley do you have family members that like football?
That's so sad. Were you dropped as a child? There must be some explanation as to why you dont like it.
buffalo bills stadium giants stadium
liquid church house
A million times better than Dallas or Seattle or Minesota and all the other modern crappy stadiums!
No masks???
Video was done in 2015
Place is a dump
Just because it has a lot of history doesn’t necessarily make it a good stadium.
True
@@honestmagafanhonestbillsfa452 That's because it's a Socialist run stadium with a Socialist run NFL club. LOL!
Outdated junk stadium from the 50s. But green bay can't afford a new stadium and they know it. Thay would have to go to Milwaukee or another big city to actually get something new.
We don't hear that from people who visit from all over the world. People who cry as they walk out the tunnel, or kiss the concrete that Lombardi, Starr, Jervy, and Kramer walked over. Sure, the team has had ups and downs, but Lambeau Field is on the bucket list of people the world over. It's the crown jewel of the NFL.
And what's outdated? The bleachers? I'm sure they'd turn them to club seats if they wanted to lose almost 10,000 seats. Problem is- those bleacher seats are sold out, and the waiting list is over 138,000 people. How is your team set for the future?
Socialist franchise.
