The availability of one figure or another has been a problem for Hasbro for a long time. G.I.Joe Classified, Marvel Legends and Transformers have popular characters that are impossible to get at retail every year. The 20th anniversary figures, the 80th anniversary line, Daredevil 3 pack, Power Princess, Serpentor, Swoop, Major Blood, Mirage, Hound, MCU Spider-Man 3 pack/or singles, Cobra Eels, the V.A.MP., Clea, Wolverine/Sabertooth 2 pack, Yondu, Nightcrawler, Iron-Spider, Dr. Mindbender, Core class Megatron and so many more. There are a lot of figures that were only available for a few minutes and never came back in stock.
I got my X-men ‘97 series 1 on a POWERDAYS sale. I think. $16 or so. I heard hasbro is releasing that transformers 3 pack. I could be wrong. Hasbro version will have Starscream instead of Megatron.
Brother, here we go again! Not all of us collectors live in areas that are conducive to our collecting hobby. If you don't have the funds until the end of the month, u just may miss out on a figure. It happens to me all the time. Picking up figures is hard out here in Arkansas and Louisiana. Ask my man ROBO how many figures he finds at Walmart and Target. I probably stay in a worse area than him!🤦🏾♂️

Wow i can agree getting paid once a month is tough because no preorders come the same time i get paid ,its always before or after or even worse all at the same time . And hunting is dead in texas too even with a gazillion walmarts and targets and comic shops you can never find anything
I know exactly what you mean. It burns me up when I see RUclipsrs bragging about driving to their local Target or GameStop and picking up figures. Then they come back and talk to the viewers like we don't know how to shop and search. 🤦🏾♂️
I should have specified I only like the head sculpt better on the VHS so I use that on the 97 body

What people buy depends on what u like so i buy very few marvel legends . Or any other company for that matter none are perfect in my opinion ,im buying less than more these days .
I love the Cyclops VHS figure. I needed up taking his arms off, and putting Morphs jacket on him. Then the 97 non cell shaded is the other body.

Hasbro has been bringing heat this year, but they have some warehouse distribution issues to solve. Warbird Target Exclusive drop was a nightmare.

'97 Wolverine. Probably the only one that hasn't got restocked anywhere near me. I got mine, but it's crazy they've not restocked him anywhere...

Nah, 97 Cyclops is better than VHS. No Cel shading and comes with blast effect
