- Akua Naru does it again. The hiphop wordsmith brings us back to why we fell in love with her "Journey Aflame" spoken word piece, "Poetry: How Does It Feel?." In "Poetry: How Does It Feel Now???", Naru invites her band DIGFLO into the studio to record a new version, and its ALL LIVE! Recorded and filmed in Cologne's famous Maarwegstudio2, Naru plays with the language like something out of a Toni Morrison novel. Accompanied by live musicians before a small audience, Naru reminds us of what it means to love and long for our beloved, and to never forget to stop, pause, and ask the poetic question: How Does It Feel....Now??? This live version is sure to make you holler...and you can find it on her new Live Album, Live & Aflame Sessions, released by Jakarta records on May 25, 2012.

Just imagine how peaceful and pure one small moment of time would be with this song just playing. Walking around town, looking around at people having fun and smiling, appreciating how the little things really make living worth it. Or maybe just walking down at the beach while the sun is setting and telling yourself how you wish you could freeze that one moment. Or sitting on a small hill at night going through memories and dreams. It's pretty silly to be honest but right now while I type this silly comment people won't really understand, I'm enjoying this moment of time in my life to really appreciate how amazing music can be.. one love:)
+Rui carmo why is it pretty silly? silly is not to feel, and you can´t understand what you don´t feel, but you do. so don´t worry of those who don´t. It´s just their choices, not to feel. Even not to feel sometimes is the most correct thing to do, it´s a good choice sometimes, but can you control and choose what you feel? you can, in a certain way.....
