This, like my first AI Cover video, is just to test out AI Voice Cloning, so this one's not full animation. This time around, I did it myself. I'm guilty.
I tested out Kits.AI (RVC) and a Google Colab of so-vits-svc-fork (SVC) with Jason Griffith's Sonic the Werehog voice. I'm pretty sure that Darkspine Sonic's voice is exactly like that, and his voice lines may be too small so I went with the Werehog voice for more samples.
I didn't go with using his Werehog form because I'm focusing on other aspects of the Sonic franchise. Oh, and I wanna use more of Darkspine Sonic, so I'm giving some love to the underrated Sonic Storybook series like Sonic and the Secret Rings.
I'll get to Excalibur Sonic someday. that one should definitely be animated.
(and no, I won't use dark sonic as I gave that to knuckles for my content 🤣 and also that sonic in my videos already have to deal with his werehog curse, so less form burden plz)
Uberduck has removed all licensed voices, so we are left with FakeYou. I am also exploring alternatives that have text-to-speech instead of "Voice to Voice" method, although I prefer the latter one for a more 'realistic' feel. For now, Kits.AI is the way to go.
I will not unlist my remaining Uberduck videos that are not re-done unless I'm told by voice artists to do so. With that said, my Cream videos ("She-Wolf" and "Guess Cream's Food") will be unlisted after I upload the re-done versions of them. I guess 2023 is my year of re-uploading stuff. 😶

Yeah, Uberduck has their reasons considering the circumstances that has happened to them. It's sad, but it is what it is.
