Please why do we always have to fold at the back material?.
I get my slope very differently.
It is designed to fit individual Shoulder types.
But I wonder at the real reason for the fold.
Please help me understand better.

The back drop is to make the joining of back and from to fall on the shoulder line and for the dress not to be jumping on the front.. This also makes the dress relax well on the back and give fitting
You can use different ways to get your shoulder slanting and its better if u slant according to different shoulder.

But I still have problem with the neckline .. based on how I was taught..."we do join the shoulders before trimming the neckline to it's shape and size..
But when I do that trimming ..I end up cutting neck 19 instead of 16.
