I think season 1 is the only good season out of all 3, season 2 was atrocious but season 3 was somewhat better, I think season 2 had a seriously bad villian problem, the villian was absolutely terrible, bit of a waste and a contrivance on her characters part, it feels to "adapted" rather than staying true to who she was and allowing her entire family to remain dead, I am also appalled by how poorly nuke was used, he should have been the main villain of season 2.. such a waste he would have been perfect
Rachael played addiction extremely well. Most realistic take on the pyschological mechanisms underlying addiction I have ever seen on a screen.
They’re so wellspoken and seem to have a lot of understanding and knowledge about their characters and the show. So proud to call myself a fan of theirs - can’t wait for season 2!!

Their characters friendship is one of the most beautiful things on the show, all people who have a sismance or a bromance can relate to it

Very, very powerful; deep, tragic and rife with conflicting emotions, it was beautifully written and brilliantly acted. It’s my favorite season. Nothing less than amazing.

I agree with Rachael. This season is more character driven and less plot driven compared to the first. I liked these characters so I was able to enjoy it. But this may not be everyones cup of tea.

Yeah I wouldn’t classify Veronica Mars as film noir. Detective show, sure. But that’s a different thing.
Film noir is characterized by an oppressive, hopeless atmosphere, usually set in an urban environment which seems extremely alienating and uncaring, usage of a femme fatale (seductive women who leads people into dangerous situations) and has a smoke-filled, dark aesthetic. Jessica Jones basically fits the bill, but more like television noir, I guess. It has also been described as a psychological thriller/noir.
duuuuudddddeeeee, ssshh it was a REALLY small role. also ur kinda right veronica mars is a noir but not in the traditional sense of that neo noir look though. ive seen people say it lays oppression and hopelessness.veronica mars was heavy on the rich get away with everything and if u stand up to that u lose everything. so i think theres an argument to be made that at least the first season was closer to noir than any of the others. but that was also teen stuff while this jessica jones is super traditional with the hard drinking disillusioned p.i. plus again the whole show aside from trish's apartment feels gritty and the wonderful use of dark environments and color contrast set the mood better than veronica mars ever did, not that i believe that was their goal to begin with. btw i love both shows.

Good show , I watched it on netflix and really liked it .looking forward to the next episode. I was also impressed with Rachael Taylor shown doing a boxing bag workout , she looked as thought she had done it many times just to keep in shape. Fit girl.

I hope Trish and Jessica aren’t mad at each other for the whole Season 3 - their friendship is one of my favourite things in the show. Trish definitely did some less than great things this season but I think she’s realised she’s been being unreasonable. Hope it’s not too late for them both! They’ve been there for each other so many times.

SPOILERS: I actually think the arcs are very similar for both seasons, mystery at the beginning as to what is going on, relating to Jessica of course. Big revelation about a villain’s motivation toward the midway point, a point where Jessica and the villain team up, villain eventually dies
These responses from R and K were brilliant, really showed how much they care for the material and they did amazing, the interviewer was mega cringeworthy, I contemplated clicking off after "Kilgore"..I mean, sure people make mistakes but don't get the name of JJ nemesis wrong when your interviewing the star herself, doing your research is surely part of the interviewers job.

I adore Krysten Ritter. Why she was cast in She's out of my league as the best friend, when she should have been the protagonist. Of the three characters; Patty, Marnie and Molly, Patty (Krysten Rotter) was EASILY the best looking and "owned" the screen. And her characters personality ... just WOWOWO!

Ok her. Being Australian I forgot. Been years since transformers 1. Not to mention this explains a fucking lot. Many times in the show I was like why does she sound off now or why did she have a weird drawn out pronunciation in some scenes. Makes sense her real accent was breaking through
