Hello Dave (and mom) - This is another really nice hike from your area and it is a stunning place. No signs of winter, but just a lovely forest and some stunning waterfalls. Walking in such a forest is good exercise both for mind and body, so I hope your brought some hot drink and food to enjoy at the waterfalls:) As always you take some really good pictures and you show us the power of the modern smartphone! Your pictures are the kind I want to frame and hang up on my wall - they are really high quality and you have an eye for details! But do take care when scrambling up and down those steep sides to the river; they can be treacherous and with age I have become a lot more careful in such places! Hope you will have a great week and that your mom is ready for new hikes soon! All the best, Ant
