  • In the final episode of my CDT thru hike series, I make it to Glacier National Park. This episode showcases the wondrous beauty of the park, including epic sunrise views over Two Medicine, Piegan Pass, Ptarmigan Pass, glaciers and turquoise mountain lakes. I even follow a black bear down the trail for a while. I make it to the end of the hike at the Canadian border alongside Waterton Lake to bring the journey to a reflective end.

Thru hiking can feel like a solitary journey, at times with no purpose. But you brought it back for us all yet again. Thanks. For beauty, not glory.

Glad you enjoyed! No glory - just gratitude! I get overwhelmed just thinking about the fact that I got to do this. And….it was my second shot!

Unbelievable Hungry Cat! Thanks so much for filming the journey. I'm amazed by the differences in landscapes and the absolute beauty in this area of the country. I got goosebumps when you touched the Canadian border marker. What an incredible accomplishment!

Thanks Homebound! I really hope you get the chance to do this trail some day. It was an amazing experience and something I will treasure forever. Completely different experience than the AT, but that’s kind of what made it so incredible.

Looks like you had great weather for the wall. Really starting to like your simple content style. It's a breath of fresh air in a land of "cookie cutter" videos. Well done

Glad you enjoyed the series! I had plenty of thunderstorms, especially in CO, but I often wouldn’t film in the rain because I didn’t want to kill my camera. Overall though it was a fairly dry hike!
