I'm highly interested to be the part of the UN as it would help in developing underdeveloped countries particularly in agricultural and green energy technologies to achieve sustainable development goals

Hi I have a question. Do people with Bachelor's Degree ever get the YPP or mostly people with a Master's degree since the YPP is so competitive?

Are there some degrees you don't consider in this program?

At 1:45 you mention applicants need at least a bachelor's degree. Other literature I've read about the program mentions a master's degree as a minimum. Can you please clarify?

Only a Bachelor degree is required. A Master's degree only gives you an added advantage

Hello, I am very interested in working at the UNEP and I have a Bachelor degree in biology and currently, I am in my first year of Master degree in environmental microbiology, so I was wondering if scientists can apply too for the young professional program or if it is mostly for economists or related fields. Thank you

YPP is not for Indian because India is not in the list of the participating nation. Very sad😓😔

@@abhis568 probably there are many Indians working at the UN currently so India is not under-represented at the UN.

@@66newsnetwork without knowing exact number of working Indian in UN you should have not to say this.
The citizens who are in the list of the listed countries are working in UN ,it not mean that they are not eligible to for this.
This should be talent based program not country based because as right to life and equality is one of the aim of 17 UN goals. And UN itself not following its words then how countries and organisations will follow the UN protocols. It's very ironical

Well the YPP job posting specifically states that work experience is not necessary. But the African guy emphasizes having rather detailed experience such as in the field. And the woman Geneva urges to be keeping tabs on different platforms. I don't know if she's implying that one should also be applying to positions at other agencies, NGOs, government ministries, etc.? She should just say so clearly instead of beating around the bush 😒.
