These guys had a pretty dominant radio presence in the late 90s early 2000s. It was honestly a rare day if you didn't hear one of their songs when driving home from work.
there is a lot of problems with this band that prevented them from reaching the heights that they could have and it is mainly (ironically) the lead singer, Mr. Stephen "I incorporated the band and own 100% of the rights to the IP now and you're not a part of it anymore nor will I recognize your contributions" jenkins
When I first heard this song on my 3EB radio station in November when the EP was first released, I nearly cried. No band has ever had that effect on me. Not only have they kept their original sound that everyone loved about them, but after listening to the entire album I still see true substance in their music. It takes time and true talent and dedication to be what 3EB is. Can't wait to hear more from them

For me some of the best guitar tones ever to come out of an amp speaker and hit a mic were dished out by Cadogan and Fredianelli. And some of the most thought-provoking, soul-stirring, intellect-enhancing song lyrics ever were spouted by the rapidfire genius of Jenkins. I don't know why their songs are not as popular as I think they could be but I guess that's part of the immense pleasure I take from listening to Third Eye Blind. If this really were their last album, I don't hold it against them--it's been a long run. Thank you, but I hope this isn't the end yet.

Gods of summer is truly the best description of TeB. First time i heard them was the summer when semi charmed life graduate hows it gonna be losing a whole yr and jumper came out. Saw them in vernon NY at the krockathon fucking stellar show ive seen them at red rocks too

This has that TEB sound from 20 years ago that I love. Definitely one of their best newer songs. I remember they opened with this the first time I saw them live at The Observatory OC. What a night that was!
The sound on "Dopamine" went kind of emo and darkly emotional and I love this new sound. I only wish they'd made more music throughout their career than five albums. There's the hope that they'll produce more.

This album is incredibly decent. I feel like Stephen tried really hard to make this album as great as he could but ultimately could not re-capture the greatness of 3eb from the old days. This may simply come with aging and creativity not as strong as when the band was once in the spotlight - now merely capturing the audience stuck with the feelings of nostalgia from the glory days. That being said...this isn't a bad album. Always will love this band and enjoy their music however I don't feel the connection I did with past albums. Best songs are Exiles, Something In You and Back To Zero (my favorite song from the album - sounds like The Cure!). Can't wait to see these guys in a few weeks live.
