HI MARTY PLEASE READ THIS I Just wanted to say I bought my 3rd guitar today at 19, a 40th anniversary squire tele with .11 strings (my thickest gauge yet!) and have you to thank for teaching all of my techniques and favorite songs and have become, as I’m sure you’re familiar obsessed with learning as much as possible, to a million more hours! Thank you!!
Fantastic lesson - I'm pretty comfortable finger picking, but have had a few false starts on hybrid picking, but this lesson really hit home - I've already started practicing the three exercises, and I can just tell it's going to be a daily activity. Thank you so much, @danieldonato & Marty. 😎
I’m learning but need more information on our finger nails. I’m using some hardener on my middle and ring but would love to hear what others are doing and I’d love to see that actual shape of the finger nails for best sound. I do not want long finger nails but whatever it takes. I’m thinking acrylics.
This was a great lesson, I'd love to see more like this from Daniel. Such a calm and patient approach, makes me feel less rushed and helps me take my time to learn.
Daniel is the man !!! Just saw him in cinci and he let me play his custom shop tele ! Such a kind humble and extremely talented man !!! Will be seeing him again !
@danieldonato Daniel, The way you speak with your eyes closed feels like you are speaking from the heart. Such deep passion from your love of guitar. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great lesson you motivate so many people to play guitar great videos you should do some lessons for three days grace and theory of a deadman I would love lessons for them
I hope folks know and appreciate Daniel for his time and talent. He does not need to do this for us. He is a master guitarist, one of the best in the world. Thank you Daniel, we do appreciate your time and talent:-)
I can appreciate Daniel being the face of "cosmic" country in our world these days but lets give love to the Flying Burrito Brothers or 13th Floor Elevators
Hey guys ! I’m buying my first ever guitar next week , and it’s a strat but i wanna know what would be better for me a strat sss or hss ( I plan on playing some of the 70s rock type of music and also some blues and stuff )
Hey Marty have you or could you kinda show how to play like Kurt Cobain I fee it would be really interesting to see the different ways he played (picking, bends, etc.)
Something I would love to ask Daniel is , when his mouth is moving so subtly, is he literally saying “down up down up” in his head ? It looks like it, if so, that’s so sick lol
I Love This Guy!! I want to give his tour my visual plugins for their screens as a gift, but nobody will email me back. I programed them myself, they transform any video feed, and they bang to the music in the most kaleidoscopic way. @danieldonato

You're a legend Marty!
Hybrid Picking is such a versatile technique, high difficulty, but high payoff in the amount of styles you can pull off.
Every time I come across a Daniel Donato video lesson it’s like coming across gold. He’s such an amazing player and an amazing teacher.
