@johnalbone30192 Steelers have been decimated all season on defense 2 starting ILBs out for the season, Safeties out most of the season including Minkah and this was his first game back, not to mention the Best defensive player in football Watt out and they played hard. Oh also playing with a 3rd string qb who held up well other than 1 band INT. This game was much closer than the score indicated. Turnovers and awful calls from the zebras in the 2nd half were the nails in the Steelers coffin but they definitely fought.

You both need to go back and watch Josh allen in the 2021 playoffs. He was unbelievable. Patriots he literally pitched a PERFECT game. We literally didn’t punt . Shakir has had that talent all year and he's finally getting on the field more. They need to use him a LOT against KC. KC defense has been elite since week 13 and Mahomes and Reid in the playoffs are just different. If Bills can stop bleeding players on the defensive side then it should be another W.

Tomlin is only good if because of the TJ Watt this year. In previous years, the only reason they had non losing seasons was Ben Roethlisberger.
The happiest coach moment I saw was a few years ago. Shawn McVie of the Rams, after a big play running and jumping up and down, shouting and so happy. Going into the locker room at halftime? That’s was joy! Greatest moment I saw from Mike Tomlin was after the Super Bowl loss to the Packers, the way he greeted his players coming off the field. Mike shook each player’s hand and thanked them for a great season. Then, one player, dejected, expressed frustration at the loss. Mike was so kind in his words of encouragement to that young player. Best Mike McCarthy moment, was unseen, but heard about. Player Bosch had tried to get the ball on the short kick, rather than block and let the man behind him catch the kick. It was the loss in Seattle. A few days after the game, Bosch went privately to McCarthy’s office and asked if he lost the game for the Packers. Mike assured him it was not his fault. Many errors had been made during the game. For a young player, if Mike had been harsh, Bosch might have gone home and committed suicide. McCarthy has always been a developer of young men. Mike provided emotional support for that young man and gave encouragement. As much as the loss this Sunday to the Packers hurt the Cowboys, did you notice the loving hand on the shoulders of CeeDee Lamb and at another time Dak Prescott that Mike put on his players and spoke to them individually? Mike McCarthy provided emotional support and gave technical advice to them. Do you see how loving Mike McCarthy was to his players, even in time of being down in the score? These moments of Tomlin and McCarthy show me what outstanding human beings these men are.

If he loses next week the Dolphins fans will say that he sucks when they have no room to talk when it comes to their warm weather, no playoff win QB. Josh Allen just won the division in Miami and just won his 5th playoff game and forced Mahomes to play away from Arrowhead for the first time in his career in the playoffs. This is the difference between Josh Allen compared to Tua and Dak. Josh can make a bad play or 2 and still deliver a great 2nd half and win the game in the bright lights. Dak and Tua are great front runners but they get punched in the mouth and unlike Josh they can’t take it. QBs like Josh,Pat, Burrow and Lamar in a league of their own compared to all other QBs right now.

One story no one is covering with these playoffs is that it seems like the refs are swallowing the whistles more than I can ever remember, there were some violent plays in that Steelers Bills game that just didn't get called especially after the play for both teams.

That always happens in the playoffs, they call penalty’s often in the regular season to keep guys from getting hurt, they also want to promote betting, they don’t want the public to think any games are rigged or decided by the refs, cuz if that happens people may not bet as much.

People love to point out all of Josh's flaws, but when there's so many QBs that struggle to even win 1 playoff game, it's impressive that Josh & the Bills have done so for 4 straight years.
The ultimate goal is winning the SB, but winning is hard in this league.
Just look at the Eagles - SB last year, couldn't win 1 game this year. Jags were supposed to take a leap, then didn't even make the playoffs. Dolphins lost in the WC last 2 years, while Herbert has only made the post season once in 4 years.
Even the Bengals didn't make it due to Burrow's injury, which goes to show how incredible it is that Allen has stayed healthy & available all this time, despite his play style.
Then you got the Cowboys losing to the 7th seed, and you see just how crazy the playoffs can be. For a supposed "rollercoaster" QB, he's sure managed to be pretty consistent.
Social media has made people forget how hard this game actually is and that it's not all highlights and superbowls. Mahomes is finally seeing what other QBs deal with as well. Allen is a baller plain and simple. He'll retire as a top 5 or 6 QB at this rate but people are too busy focusing on why they should hate him rather than enjoying the show

Unfortunately since he is injured, he is conveniently forgotten about by the media.
Everyone says the Steelers can't give up Tomlin. Most of these comments are coming from fans of teams who never really been in the playoff hunt or even have a long string of consistent success. Certain team's success are measured during the playoffs and not the regular season. Tomlin has not proven himself in the playoffs since the Green Bay Super Bowl. Yes, never having a losing season will help his HOF credentials but that will not sit well with fans (as myself) if this doesn't lead to a super bowl within the next few years. We are talking about firing McCarthy after 4 years of dominance in the regular season but choking in the playoffs. So why should the Steelers keep a guy who 1) barely gets .500 seasons and into the playoffs bc another team loses and 2) look completely out coached and out matched in the playoffs.

On the Rams QB situation, I've often wondered what this year would have looked like if they took Aidan O'Connell instead of Bennett in the 4th last year. Tough year as a starter this year, sitting behind Stafford with McVay may have given a different result.

When they scouted Allen they asked about his hands. He has huge hands and is made to throw the weather in inclement weather. The mistake you make Josh Middlekauf is you forget this. Dual threat QBs that are efficient while still taking huge risks despite playing for a defensive HC are much better than a guy who had everything going for him since entering the league and he still struggles for huge chunks of games and seasons
He's struggling so much KC just won their 8th division title and are coming off a fifth-straight conference championship and has won two out of three Super Bowls. You act like these QBs do it all alone. How was Allen without Diggs? Lamar has an elite defense and playmakers, just like Mahomes.

Josh Allen makes some of the worst decisions of any QB to ever live and that balances out his brilliance. The hype train on Josh Allen after today's playoff game is a little much. He comes down to earth fast every year.
I'm a Patriots and TB12 fan, but also an NFL fan, I like good football. NFL makes sure Chiefs are on television alot. I initially had a resentment towards Mahomes because the talking head jock sniffing rump swabs were annointing him the 🐐. Brady went to 10 super bowls, I guarantee Mahomes won't. But he can and does kill teams on 3rd and long vs. man to man with sneaky speed, he will peel off a 10-15 yard first down run.
Mike Tomlin has been outscored 66-0 in the last 5 first quarters of Steeler playoff games. Considered one of the top coaches in the league and assured a spot in the pro football Hall of Fame, a stat like that seems statistically impossible. Sounds like a man who needs to be fired. Mediocre regular season success combined with playoff beatdowns is not the Pittsburgh standard

Perfect analysis. As far as the Steelers, c’mon people, bottom line is they’re just not as good of a team as the Bills. As far as switching the day from Sunday to Monday, not sure if people understand...this decision was made by the Governor of NY. It had nothing to do with the Bills. A good team should be able to play any day of the week. Had they played Sunday, the Bills would have won as well. Bills are better, more dynamic, and more talented, and they won fair and square.
