0:56 King Boo and Bowser have very different power sets. Many of Mario's powers work on Bowser, only the star and mega mushrooms works on boos. Both of those are rare as well as having short time limits.

King boo tricked him. you always try to overpower mario, king boo decieved him and easily beat him. Then luigi came along who is naturally more cautious of everything, and managed to outwit the king with the help of E.Gadd As a certain coutdown artist once said; "the hero fights the dragon. the thinker fights his fears."
If you mean the one in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, then always stay at the edge of the clock when it's about to spin, and don't waste time cleaning the area unless the ghost you're fighting in that section demands it, you should be fine with that, oh, and don't let the timer and clock freak you out
