  • The Triumph X75 Hurricane was actually a modified BSA Rocket 3. It was Craig Vetter that had also been involved in the design of the Ford Mustang that did the first bike as a hobby. BSA/ Triumph liked the idea and in 1973 there where about 1500 motorcycles like this built.
Exterior: The Triumph X75 Hurricane for sale is from 1973 and it has been restored to the condition you see it here today. It was repainted and the stainless steel parts have been polished. It is wearing the original Borrani wheels and the super cool original triple exhaust. It is a motorcycle with a design and colour that celebrates the glorious seventies.
Engine: Triumph X75 Hurricane is a 3 cylinder 750 cc motorcycle with one carburettor and one exhaust for each cylinder. This does not only gives this bike a super cool look, but also a great sound. The X75 has not been used much since the restoration but everything works and it fires right up.
History: Apparently 80% of the Triumph X 75 Hurricane motorcycles where exported to USA. This particular bike was the very first that came to Sweden trough the importer MC-City in Frändefors. In order to get approval in Sweden it had to be converted from left hand brake to right hand brake. It can easily be changed back. But I think most motorcycle drivers today prefer to have the brake on the right hand side. This very Triumph motorcycle is featured in a magazine in 1973 called MC-Nytt. The Hurricane was registered in Sweden in May 1974 and the first owner kept it until 2018. And the second owner until today. The Triumph comes with Swedish registration documents and can be exported anywhere in the world. We can help you with the export and transport. But we can not help you with the registration in your country.
