Dang! Love these patches! That DXG sounds really great! Love that it’s stereo and and still retains that aux in! I’ll put this on my list instead of the Optomix. And also, black panel! Yes!
Thanks for taking me on another adventure. Your synthesis techniques always blow my mind. Then you keep digging deeper. Really nice on the low end Halo around 7:00.
I pulled the trigger on the DXG a few days ago. It wasn't in my plans of purchase for the next few modules, and I should really stop buying more modules for a while now, but my god Make Noise does an incredible work. Can't wait to receive the module next week! 🙌🥳
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC it arrived a day after I made the comment. And I can't stop smiling when I send my favorite oscillators through it! This is a lovely and amazing module, thank you for it!!
I already did the update successfully but to be honest I hear/feel no change at all. The noise still there. But I don’t mind the noise anyway. It adds tothe modules character.
@@TheNimasanits weird i did the update on mine and it went away for awhile then came back. Not sure how the hell this happened but might need to update firmware again. Morphagenes noise is much harder to deal with than mimeophones at this point but since they are so good i cant get rid of them.
Amazing , after 7 months of getting into Modular I can now understand everything you done 🤗🤗, waiting on DXG arriving! I just figured out how to use the Rene CV and mod input last week, was using it to change Snake patterns, so cool! Thanks again Walker.
Does anyone know if the signal from channel 2 is taken out from SUM if the channel's input is patched. I want to be able to process two different signals with lowpass without mixing them together (SUM would output only Ch1 signal and Ch2 output would output Ch2 signal).
Wonderful video. I very much enjoyed watching you work through this process on your system. I also enjoy this method; I use the Moog M-32 sequencer in “cv step address” mode. I recommend mixing the envelope cv with the some Woggle. I try to get a good balance between my envelope and step cv, then run that through an Attenuator/Offset (acid rain’s navigator) to be able to “control” the movement. This is often how I play solos.
Walker’s new hair style rocks! Meanwhile, i always go Rene’s CV with cross modulating self patch style X to Y & Y to X. I should try these method. I should get the DXG! And great video! Always inspiring⚡️
And per the question at the end, I like to feed a smooth random or complex LFO into a channel with FUN.CV.ADD and use the QUANT page to bucket the CV into musically-useful 1V/Oct values. Sometimes I will leave the channel unblocked, sometimes I will feed it a very slow clock over a small number of ACCESS-enabled steps that move the root of the “scale” (and therefore moving the quantized notes to a different mode, more or less).
Nice video! I wish you guys would make a standalone semi-modular with rene type sequencer. I love my 0-CTRL but hate the endlessness of euro. Having some of this sound/sequencing functionality in a package without too many cables in the way would be very appealing.
MN really went fully stereo, even on Walker's hair
Haha... I'd been rocking the "extreme mono" look for quite a number of years
🤣🤣🤣
Another awesome patch! Can't wait to get my hands on the DXG.

As always, enlightening and enjoyable watching you patch. Wonderful sound as well.
Thank you for watching!
My dad was in a Grateful Dead cover band called the Reptiles. Listening to these stereo sounds gives me a similar sense of comforting nostalgia.
walker could you make a video how to update the mimeophon like your excellent morphagene video?? would be great

Impressive, it sounds marvellous .

Cross modulation on René gets wild fast!! Thanks for watching :)

DXG in Silver please gang

*Two* Maths? Two *Wogglebugs*!? Is that …legal? 😂
NO COMMENT
my DXG is due to arrive on valentines day 💕
Happy Day of the Heart in advance!!
dual maths. bitchin'
Cool!
Thanks!
going fror the Bram Stoker's Dracula hair? 😁
I had the same thought after a shocking glance in the mirror the other day
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC🤣
Walker's hair blocks the light 😕Not saying he should get haircut but maybe use more light next time. We don't want him to get real job. 😉
ending sounds like something i ate the other day
Walker... is that you?
jury's out :P
Hehehe... 😁
Nice patch! These videos are really going to pop off once you have a stereo reverb to go along with Mimeophon.
does a stereo-input reverb really make sense though? sounds each appear at a single point in space, not multiple points
@@jsleeio I’m not sure what makes sense, but I love stereo reverbs like Desmodus Versio. Qu-Bit Aurora is great also.
