Hollow Knight players never fail to surprise other gamers and impress Team Cherry. I remember when people first began finding skips and things in the game, and the company was asked if they would patch these things up. Team Cherry said no because they liked how much bigger the game was to the players and how this changed the world (however said they would patch up some things like bugs). I feel this encouragement to find loopholes when navigating the world of Hallownest really changed the way the audience played and approached the game. That players would take on challenges and experiments instead of following only a few expected paths through the world. That now, Hollow Knight players are some of the most adaptive and crafty gamers of modern games, and that they all encourage each other to achieve such feats bc they know it's possible. Just wow.

The way Fire narrates it makes these people sound like actual bosses. Now I'm imagining something along the lines of: Colosseum of the God Gamers, with each person having an ability based on their strategy, and the way they played in general. So basically, something like this: Snow Cotton Leaf: "A man can be dishonored, but not demolished." -vanishes himself out of existence, making him invincible and unable to interact with anything for a brief moment. Movement is still possible, and it is easily noticeable due to visual clues. HuntHussle: "Fear is for the weak, and the weak is hunted." -pinpoints a single target. The target's weak points become visible for him, and he is able to dash at it at any given point. Chrome: "Stared too long into the light- now we ascend together." -able to fire off destructive beams of light, or bend and condense it into a sturdy, tangible form. Cysipy: "Some falter near failure. Others rise higher than before." -slowly builds extra speed as the fight continues, and as they take damage. NeoExilirus: "My weapon strikes equally to all those who oppose me." -links him with his weapon, tying his strength and his very being into it. As his stamina falters, the energy flows into the blade, feeding it and making it stronger. HJThunderbolt: "Demolish your foe instantly, and there will be no need to "fight"." -able to infuse himself with lightning, which gives him remarkable speed and slowly burns himself away.
the whole Cotton thing is such a shame, his anyrad fight is insane, imagine the overwhelming respect that people would have for him if he just didn't cheat, you know?
I think people have kinda moved on based on all the praise he's getting in the comments. Especially since this is a feat performed only by 6 people this is more than a redemption. The dedication, hard work, and time he used on this is nothing short of a godly task. Cheating does not trounce the work of such a an amazing and astounding person we all make mistakes, but beating a self proclaimed unbeatable challenge, I just have the words, but only the utmost respect for all of these 6 players and as far as I'm concern this is definitely a new slate.

I've seen people play the game and never played it myself, but I can tell how much effort went into each one of them beating this fight. It's really impressive!

So basically, something like this:
Snow Cotton Leaf: "A man can be dishonored, but not demolished."
-vanishes himself out of existence, making him invincible and unable to interact with anything for a brief moment. Movement is still possible, and it is easily noticeable due to visual clues.
HuntHussle: "Fear is for the weak, and the weak is hunted."
-pinpoints a single target. The target's weak points become visible for him, and he is able to dash at it at any given point.
Chrome: "Stared too long into the light- now we ascend together."
-able to fire off destructive beams of light, or bend and condense it into a sturdy, tangible form.
Cysipy: "Some falter near failure. Others rise higher than before."
-slowly builds extra speed as the fight continues, and as they take damage.
NeoExilirus: "My weapon strikes equally to all those who oppose me."
-links him with his weapon, tying his strength and his very being into it. As his stamina falters, the energy flows into the blade, feeding it and making it stronger.
HJThunderbolt: "Demolish your foe instantly, and there will be no need to "fight"."
-able to infuse himself with lightning, which gives him remarkable speed and slowly burns himself away.
the whole Cotton thing is such a shame, his anyrad fight is insane, imagine the overwhelming respect that people would have for him if he just didn't cheat, you know?
I think people have kinda moved on based on all the praise he's getting in the comments. Especially since this is a feat performed only by 6 people this is more than a redemption. The dedication, hard work, and time he used on this is nothing short of a godly task. Cheating does not trounce the work of such a an amazing and astounding person we all make mistakes, but beating a self proclaimed unbeatable challenge, I just have the words, but only the utmost respect for all of these 6 players and as far as I'm concern this is definitely a new slate.
