I'm sure they're tuning down for vocal reasons, but it's really great they're playing this in the original recorded key now. Sounds so much better in this key. Mark's vocals aren't the best, but his old range is really hard to match.
@@bradleylb5003 Original recordings yeah but not live, for some reason they always used to tune just a half step down live. Even the same years the albums came out. I'm not really sure why. Even up to the last few years they've done this song live just a half step down. So I'm guessing they finally went down to the original tuning for vocal reasons.
@@KnapfordMaster98 Ahhh I didn't know that!! It makes since though. I saw them a few weeks ago and I was worried from iPhone video that it wouldn't be that great but they came out and kicked ass. The whole band was top notch and definitely worth it. I like seeing these 80's hard rock bands get back together. Most of them were extremely talented. Cheers!!
I think Mark is doing a hell of a good job - it's been a long time since the 80's! I remember seeing platinum bands back then that didn't sound half this good.
I was a big fan when these guys when they first came on the scene. Great vocals, good guitar work, solid rhythm section. Then, I went to see them live back in the mid 90's on tour with Poison. Slaughter did sooo many overdubs in the studio that they could not recreate it live. They sucked, they were absolutely horrible!!! Poison totally blew them out of the water!!!! I wasn't a big Poison fan at the time, but they made the concert at least bearable. Like I said earlier, I was a fan when the album came out. But that one concert really changed my mind. I have since watched alot of RUclips clips since then and all left me feeling the same way. In my opinion, the best way to rate a band is to see them live!!!!
Worst seats in the house for live sound are usually up front, you are getting blasted by stage amps and monitors and don't get what the sound engineer is putting through the main sound system.
Saw them in Feb. He sounded terrible, just sounded like he was screaming everything, and Strum just does that damn lip pout the whole show. He looks ridiculous.
Cmon!! Is this really slaughter??? No way!!’ So Rock isn’t dead!!?? Even after hollywoods lamest ever sellout project movie with Tom Cruise and poor sell-out Russel Brand, rock will prevail (heheheh, that’s how they used to talk). Awesome!
Awesome...they are still rocking to this day!
Mark S and the band are timeless. These guys are true artists. I love his voice.

They've always played a full step down. Even on the original recordings.

It's really hard to hear mark sing there is to much distortion in the back ground. It is also really loud. Hopefully they will get it sorted out. 🤘
Watch Eye to Eye that was captured I believe your opinion will change about Mark
i hope its just a bad recording - not sounding too good.

Zoltan Chaney or Blas Elias...this guy on drums sounds really weak
Neither one
Voice not good at all. But they’re older so…
It’s called live music most people aren’t used to hearing live music because everything now is done the tracks in lip-synched
@@VM1LIVE I get it but he had no range in his voice at all is what I’m saying. I go to many shows and have seen them live b4
Everyone has good and bad days I had a freaking blast 💥
@@VM1LIVE in the end that’s all that matters. 👍
dam sham mark could have been the next jovi in there prime band sounded like million dollar now they look and sound like crap
Lame crowd 🤦♂️.

Wow, the guitar player is so original. Les Paul, Marshall, tank top with a wide stance. Give me a break dude.
That's Jeff Blando and he's been with the band since the late 1990s. Thats been pretty much his "look" since then
And who the fuck are you,Vogue Magazine?
