Just wanted to say a big thank you from all of us BBQ metal fabricators You been such a big encouragement to us all. When I built my smoker i used 1 inch ceramic fiber insulation good for 2400 F.
I've been wanting to build a smoker for work, but insulated enough for our milder winter temperatures. I'd say 20 below. I was trying to figure out what to use. I was thinking fire brick but this seems better. Also, I was looking for installation videos for electric elements and thermostats.
Not if the interior of the firebox is seal welded. If the insulation is exposed inside the chamber it could but normally that’s not how it is installed

Is there a spray foam insulation product that you recommend?
Can you use the insulation out of a regular kitchen stove ? Thanks in advance .
