So amazing this is just beautiful you’re doing a great work- Duluth is loaded with more amazing old buildings than I realize -you can feel the energy of a higher consciousness emanating from these buildings. Do you notice how the cornerstone engraving is barely legible yet the engraving on the building is beautiful and perfect, that must be the difference between chisels and lasers?? Any idea why they were called normal school?
Wow, great point on the legibility!! I can't believe I didn't connect those dots! I'll tell you that doing a bio on a building such as this gets me over the emotions I feel about the circumstances of these, and I really appreciate them objectively for what they are afterward.
I live in an 1886 Duluth building. It has steam radiator heat. I suspect the large smoke stack is also for coal fueled steam heat. And the partial door in the rear bricked over was probably where the coal was delivered. FYI. Aren't the red stone blocks quarried from Port Wing Wi? Question everything.
@ I believe in the early days of America until 1930 all of these buildings were churches but not the churches like how they are today. These were real churches with real healing and real Christians. I think those symbols in those faces on the buildings were like to keep certain spirits away. America was very conscious spiritually against evil powers a few hundred years ago churches was like Gothic in a way like in Detroit.
I visited a church (several times) in Leipzig, Germany that was built 800 years ago. In fact, it is the church that Johann Sebastian Bach worked at from 1723 to 1750 when he died. He's buried in the floor of the apse there. THAT is old world. A school built in 1885 is not "old world."
This structure kind of has a "gingerbread" look, like many in Winnepeg. Also, how about the lion headed fish made into every section of railing? I can't imagine what's been stripped out of this structure over the years.
Duluth is incredible 😍
I'm such a fan of your work. Thank you for making these videos.
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!
Such a cool structure. One year...... probably just had a bunch of scheduling engineers at the work site working in covered wagons.
Amazing! It was really nice to meet you while you took these pics.
Thank you for letting me inside! Nice to meet you as well.
Good observations, old world all the way.

Excellent research as usual! 6:44 looks a little suspect to me. I love the details in your photographs.
Looks melted and regraded.
Un-believable tale!

It’s probably at least 400 years old.
Thank you , what a beauty
Those fishes are also on senate buildings and other schools and churches
Of course they are! 😄

do you know how many structures were built in Duluth in the 1890's alone?
I need to make a tally!

Are you 100% sure about this? Do you believe it was built as the story goes in 1 yr with a horse and buggy?
@@ArchesandColumns Nope, more lies. Ugh.
Another narrative buster!

Big fan!!
Thank you, sir!
