Sherman Snyder from MLC CAD Systems delves into the intricacies of cutter compensation within Mastercam, covering various parameters and their implications on toolpaths. The discussion includes options like computer, control, wear, reverse wear, and off, along with compensation direction choices. Sherman explains the significance of understanding whether Mastercam compensates for tool diameter and the presence of G41 and G42 compensation codes in the output. The explanation encompasses scenarios involving different tool sizes, the impact of control settings on geometry, and how compensation types, like wear and reverse wear, affect toolpath adjustments. Additionally, he covers the practical application of these principles in turning operations, illustrating how changes in tool nose radius or diameter can necessitate adjustments in the CNC control to achieve the desired machining outcome.

This would be on the machine side. You may want to reach out to your machine tool vendor. If there is a problem with the output of the code, the vendor will be able to point them in the correct direction/proper output. In this case, post modifications may be needed. More information can be found on the error in the link below.
