The shelters are at 200% capacity. There were two 1 year old pups in my area that were supposed to be put down the next day. The rescue assured the employees they had a place to place the pups the afternoon before. The problem was the person authorized to release the dogs left for the day. They put the dogs down before the authorized person was supposed to come to work. One of the employees "kidnapped" the two dogs overnight. They brought the back the next day when the rescue people and the person that could release the dogs was there. Great ending!!

There are so much DOGs in our Shelters here in Hawaii. Do we really need to Showcase this?

Seriously, there are so many dogs in Hawaiian humane society!
That's no reason to put down dogs
