Lexi *did* have a daylight amulet, however, Damon stole it from her by tricking her into thinking his humanity switch flipped and lured her to the rooftop and slept with her. When Lexi woke up, she started to burn because as I said, Damon stole her daylight amulet from her. This story is told around when Damon brings no-humanity Elena to New York.

Being a ripper just means your lust for blood is far superior than other vampires added also by a huge lack of control. Doesn’t mean you don’t have remorse. Stefan was very remorseful, He used to put the heads of his victims back on as an attempt to “fix the issue” cause he felt terrible. He didn’t have remorse when he turned off his humanity.

I’ve always thought that a ripper was not a separate vampire but one who has completely lost self-control and consumed by bloodlust, as if they were high on addiction to blood. Klaus needed doppelgänger‘s blood because Esther set a backup plan as an emergency from when he broke his hybrid curse, to needing doppelgänger’s blood so he couldn’t sire others. Not cause it was part of him and that’s the 1 thing he never got rid of. If he did, then he’d b like Hope of needing to feed others his own blood again.

I know it’s obvious but my favourite is klause as his dark sense of humour gets me 😂 when he starts throwing wood into the house he can’t get into and Damon throws some back 😂 also I love the fact he is a hybrid and fully in control when turned too!
Klaus is pretty cool but his daughter is better than Klaus himself. Hope Michaelson is the trybrid and she is a wolf witch and she has original blood running there her vanes and when she dies she becomes one of the originals. I know that is pretty crazy. But she is awesome!❤

The Tribrid Hope Mickelson, she's immune to the Werewolf Bite, can not be compelled even by the Originals, can switch her humanity on and off so she can become even more Powerfull as a Ripper, she has Magic that almost no one can match except for the Twins.. her blood is the Only one that can stop Malivore, the Eater of Dark, a being so powerful and dangerous that it was sealed outside of Reality, a Hell DImension.
Damen wasn't a standard Vampire, he was Abel to Sire vampires who was turned using his blood. He could also control mist in the first season and controlled a crow to do what he wanted. Damen and Katherine were both abel to put dreams into Vampires and Humans while they sleep
It is interesting that some vampires could maintain control and some couldn't.

10:18 My TVDU knowledge might be rusty but I'm pretty sure Klaus' werewolf bite CANNOT kill an original. Cause he bit Elijah and Rebecca a few times in The Originals and all it did was make them delirious but wasnt exactly fatal. They could recover on their own
You're correct; it caused intense pain and hallucinations for a few days (like werewolf venom did to regular vampires, albeit fatal in less than a day), but they would recover.

Exactly, marcel bite at the time when he took the serum to become stronger than the originals and the bite to them kill, his bite was very similar to a fatal werewolf bite but his is more lethal since the venom is made from all 7 or 9 werewolf packs, I forgot which number was it but anyways, the serum was also made from white oak so that’s why the bite could kill any original and why it’s technically a werewolf bite but infused with white oak. That’s why klaus tried feeding Finn his blood to see if the bite would vanish but it didn’t when he got bit by Lucien.
I think everyone can agree that Elijah is the best original by far. The actor played his role so well I would honestly think that's how he is in real life. Klaus is in a class of his own since he is a hybrid
i liked him in tvd but not to, he was one of my least favourites. klaus is best
and he is also an original. but even in tvd i prefer rebekah and kol and even mikael. finn is the worst tho
it thought it was quite fitting for marcel to be the selected candidate to be the strongest as its symbolic with his relationship with klaus the former strongest as he was his father figure, so him ascending & surpassing his power was quite cool in that regard.
Marcel was such a great addition to the vampire diaries lore!

You made an error. The blood of an upgraded original vampire like marcel cannot cure his own bite.
I hope they introduce a werewolf witch hybrid. Imagine how powerful they’ll be during a full moon and they’ll be way more connected to the earth than ever. And during the full moon they can turn back back to they’re human form but they are just as dangerous

I didn't think about Hybrid and Original Hybrid being different. With Silas, that makes 11.
Actually the spell was completely broken, it was just a fail safe to require the doppelganger blood to make more. To break the curse, the doppelganger would have had to die, which would make creating more hybrids impossible. Her living through the loophole made the creation of hybrids possible.

Yes his bite could be cured however pretty much every wolf has been extinct from their bloodlines so that cure would be rare to get.
Marcel’s blood didnt cure the bite the antidote was the venom of the 7 clans mixed by Freya

My favorite type of vampire is the vampire werewolf hybrid like Klaus , Klaus was so damn OP not only was he 1000 years old but he had the powers of both Vampire and Werewolf almost no one in the The Vampire Diaries universe was a threat to him or could even hope to even fight him all you could do was run from him or somehow bargain for your life like Jesus , one of the best rare examples of someone being able to almost kill Klaus one on one was Enchanced Original Vampire Alaric Saltzman

And also don't forget Lucian and Marcel were able to match and surpass Klaus in speed and strength (along with having a much, much more potent infused werewolf bite) when they became Upgraded Original Vampires in "The Originals" series.
@@EDPDBZ89 Marcel and Lucien are are mutant hybrids because they produce an mutated werewolf venom in the wolf fangs that makes them version of werewolves, mutant werewolves and also they are mutant vampires at same time that makes an crossbreeding mutant specie. To not confuse, they aren't traditional hybrids therefore they aren't half vampire and half werewolf but they do possess characteristics and powers of a vampire and wolf hybrid. So they technically are version of hybrid that is mutant vampire-dominant. A mutant hybrid is still both mutant vampire and mutant werewolf except mutant vampire side is dominant specie.
Marcel and lucien too. and of course THE TRIBRID who could easily kill him which is hope her daughter but she wouldn't because she loves her father so much

When klous was separated from his vampires it was the end of the show or heading that way. They kept making klous weaker and weaker the originals weaker and weaker. Judy plec ruins every vampire show, yet the studios go to her for every single vampire show and she messed it up always
I dont want this to be taken the wrong way so ill say up front that I absolutely enjoyed The Originals show, and I absolutely loved the Originals as characters (besides maybe Finn, Freya wasnt bad but kinda boring).
But as much as I enjoyed the spinoff, the original first few seasons of TVD are pure nostalgic bliss for me. The first season aired on CW during my freshman year of highschool, so the first 4 seasons lined up with my entire highschool experience. That first season though hit me at EXACTLY the perfect time for me to enjoy it. Going back and watching it now, 14-15 years later, it definitely has some glaring flaws and I get pretty annoyed at alot of the teen-drama shenanigans, but there is still that small part of me that gets pulled back to that time whenever I watch it (kind of the same for supernatural and a few other things) and its just plain magical. I like to go back and watch seasons 1-5 usually when I binge it, and I have to say its pretty cool seeing a more analytical approach on the different vampire types

the blood of the upgraded original doesn't cure their bite btw there is no cure until Freyia made one by gathering all the venom and doing some magic bang you got a cure

Like way to tell us you've never seen either shows without directly telling us.
Man as much as I'm going to get hate for this, it really does highlight the CW shows' problem with constantly having to up the odds to find a new impossible thing to be a threat, leading to once normal hero characters becoming massively overpowered in their own universe and a lot of consistency lost. Some of these shows were good in a popcorn TV sort of way still-- I mean Supernatural could be the definitive of them-- but jeez lol. It's basically why everyone but Matt Donovan wound up something spooky by the end.
What about Hope Mikaelson. He mentions her very briefly but didn't talk about how she is her own type of vampire. Hope is both a witch and werewolf hybrid, she has the same vampire abilities as an original vampire (i.e. stronger then normal vampires [because of her werewolf side], and able to compel other vampires). She is the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, the original hybrid, and Hayley Marshall, Crescent wolf alpha. She is a descendant of the original witch. She is not effected by the white oak daggers, she is the cure to a werewolf bite, and she can create hybrids with the use of her blood for both the beginning and to complete the transition. The only known weapon against Hope is wood from a Red Oak tree that was created by Hope, Lizzie, and Josie right before Hope transitioned into a vampire herself.

I'm always gonna have my personal fanfic about a heretic and a hybrid falling in love at the Salvatore school. I fan cast Kit Conner as the hybrid and Joe Locke as the heretic, you know because of Heartstopper. But I'm sorry in my fanfic there's no fairies or unicorns or dragons. We're keeping is basic with humans, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and witches.

You missed Hope and let me point out that marcel bit cant kill Klaus because his an original hybrid remember when fin was dying from the bit and Klaus gave him his blood it worked for some minutes but the bit took over thats bc at that point for him to have stayed alive he needed to be drinking from Klaus which he said no and died

Hope isn't a Hybrid, she's a Tribrid by blood.
@@streamyjoker105 she's a hybrid. A hybrid in the TV'd universe is one or more mixed with something. Hope being a triblood just means she has the third blood. And since she's the only one with with third blood (vampiric since Klaus was a hybrid)

@@streamyjoker105 okay so let me clarify. She is tribrid/triblood. In the universe itself the definition of hybrids follows suit she is listed as both triblood and hybrid. Saying she is tribrid is going into number specific of what's she's mixed with. She is naturally a triblood with vampiric blood. She is third blood since no other creature hybrid wise do not carry vampiric blood naturally. She was born with the vampiric blood. She is still considered a hybrid. Lol a hybrid comes in many forms and combinations and we seem how much further hybrids could go with hope being introduced. We now know there could possibly be three or more mixes. However she is still the only one with a third blood. She's also different because she can still use her magic while being a vampire while not being a siphoner making a heretic. By all purposes she is a triblood/tribid. She still falls under that category of hybrids.

I watched this series relentlessly at one point, but I don’t remember any originals getting their hearts ripped out and surviving 🤨🤔 where’s that scene? also klaus’s bite only incapacitates his siblings it’s not lethal to them. You need to include Hope and also Marcels blood doesn’t cure his bite. Other than that good video

I think it's stated and not shown that removal of the heart doesn't kill an original. They never elaborated on whether or not a new heart would grow or if the old heart would have to be put back in. We also mustn't forget the proto-vampire, Silas, simply because he doesn't want to be called a vampire. Also, if an original vampire is different than a normal vampire, and a hybrid is different than a normal vampire, is an original hybrid different from an original vampire?

actually there are other ways to kill originals than white oak..... like Marcel or very powerful magic could do it

In terms of power scaling I always thought of it like this the originals (except Klaus) are like an xbox one. Alaric (enhanced original) is like an Xbox series S and Marcel (upgraded original)is like Xbox series X.

I just wanted to say that being a werewolf-vampire hybrid did NOT prevent the need of a daylight ring. Hope's mother literally died by sunlight when she sacrificed herself by ripping daylight ringed finger off.
Hayley didn't need a daylight ring. The only reason Hayley died that way is because they bound her werewolf side making her just like Klaus when he was first introduced. Klaus needed to unlock his werewolf side to be able to use his werewolf abilities like walking around without a daylight ring. the same goes with Hayley they locked her werewolf side, meaning she was no longer a wolf (her wolf was dormant) meaning she would then need a daylight ring.
Hayley didn’t need a ring because she was a hybrid her wolf side got locked up like klaus then she would need a ring like klaus did until he unlocked that side of him again. It was the spell that locked up the wolf and made them essentially full vampires again. The only iffy thing I don’t get is heretics do they need a ring or not because Lizzie didn’t need one and I couldn’t see one however kai was wearing one in legacies.

Dude not including the Tribred Hope was a serious oversight. Once she was a fully unlocked Tribred she was damn near unstoppable.

Klaus couldn't kill another original with his bite. They would still heal, just like with any other wolf bite. The only thing Klaus could do that no other creature could for the first part of both series was cure werewolf bites. Eventually, though, Hope is born with the ability to heal a wolf bite, and then Lucian came along with a cure he had created in a lab. After that, the only incurable bite came from the enhanced an enhanced Original, which could kill even an Original, until Freya developed a cure for that as well. She was only able to create a very small amount of that, though, due to the rarity of some of the wolves required to make it, meaning Marcels bite would eventually become incurable, and 100% fatal again. The enhanced venom also killed much more quickly than a regular wolf bite as well.
Wouldn’t the originals father be considered a separate vampire as he ate vampires blood rather than human blood? Aka the hunter vampire

Marcel and Lucian are upgraded Klaus/ Original Hybrid. Michael and Alaric Are Upgraded Original VAMPIRES eg. Elijah, Rebekah and Kol
The blood of the upgraded vampire does not heal the bite from one of their own, as was shown by Cami dying despite drinking Lucien's blood. Sidenote: what about the tribrid, is that not a version of a vampire like the hybrids?

Small mistake, the blood of the upgraded origional vampire CANNOT cure an upgraded origional bite. The only cure is the one freya made from the venom of the different werewolf bloodlines
