As a South African, the popular theory and legend known by many about the Kruger Millions, is a very different story. This version of the story speaks of Paul Kruger loading the gold on to a train, on the way to Mpumalanga. It is said by many that the last sighting of the treasure bearing train was at its passing of the small towns of Waterval Boven and Waterval Onder. Very close to the Barberton Valley. There are still train tracks passing by these settlements today. After this however, the mysterious train disappeared completely and the Kruger Millions passed into legend. It would be really cool if you could maybe research this part of the story. Maybe it is just a wild legend, but it is a very popular theory in South Africa.
I love reading books ,Ian Van Reebeck , Paul Krueger,,beautiful story's.natives has reviled about the hidden treasures.from South Africas White people , ,in community's lands ,, in Mozambique,
Its in the baberton valley...the problem is, there are hundreds of caves in those mountains...its so easy to blow an entrance up and have it blend in to the hillside as if it were never there. One things for sure...if i find it...im telling no one. Our govenrment would claim it and make it dissapear...they seem to have a grudge against boers...lol
Let's make a group for treasure hunt, let's go camping and explore who knows will change history and tell the tale... Follow the Joubert route with his fellow soldiers with 13 cargos rides
And you are more than correct. Only four questions and you will get the answer as a fact! The proof will cause some people to be upset and will cause some hate, but the truth lies in the pudding.
This was believed to be around 600 tons of gold. At the end of Apartheid more than 4000 tons was stolen by the last white President, FW de Klerk and given to the international bankers.
Kruger, like most other "statesmen", enriched himself. Legend has it that the ship landed in the Netherlands and he moved it, several chests too heavy for men to carry, from there to Switzerland. He lived a luxurious life.
And there's another idea. This is 100% speculation but it could be that the "clerical error" was more deliberate than it was error. Maybe he opened the vault and said "Omg, it's gone. The one and a half thousand,... er, million,.. yeah, that's it. One and half million pounds is gone.". Was it insured? Bank vaults often were back then.
That's out of the box thinking, which I love. But not sure about this one because it was gold that belonged to a state that kind of ceased to exist at that very moment (Transvaal Republic). So even if it was insured, I doubt that anyone would be getting the insurance money?
Just curious.. why are we to assume all the gold would have remained in Kruger coin form and not potentially melted back down and made into bars or reminted into some other coin? If you were trying to conceal the fact you were in possession of this gold now being hunted by the British Empire wouldn’t that be a logical thing to do? So to me, expecting to find the “lost treasure” all still in its original form may be a fool’s errand?
Those caches that were found is believed to be gold that the farmers in the area buried for safe keeping. The gold they buried was believed to be payment for fighting in the war.
ZAR marking on it? Then get in contact with coin collectors that can send you in the correct direction. Only wotk with photos first to get any agreement on selling
My family loaded in wagons. But the rest is buried in a different location. And sadly we were little and know the name of the small town it was buried in.
The legend began in 1900, when the British occupied Pretoria. The British governer of the Cape Colony, Lord Alfred Milner, established that gold had been removed from the South African Mint and National Bank. The story was picked by up South African writer Gustav Preller, who wrote an account of the disappearance of the gold (now in the Pretorian State Archives). He gave the date of the train leaving as the 4th of June, the day before the British arrived in Pretoria and took the city. When word of fighting at Six Mile Spruit (one day from Pretoria) was received, the panicked government ordered mint employees to begin weighing, recording, and dispatching the gold to Pretoria train station. Under the sound of approaching cannon fire, the train steamed towards Machadodorp, where Kruger was residing at his temporary residence. In addition to the mint gold, hundreds more gold bars from surrounding mines was also loaded onto the train. But, the train never made it to Mozambique. Somewhere in the dry grasslands, farmlands, and rocky savannah between Machadodorp and the border to Mozambique, the gold disappeared into thin air. It may have gone to Europe with Kruger, or distributed to fund the war. The most common belief is that it was buried on a farm, somewhere between Sabie and Watervalboven. And that was it, the gold was never officially seen again. In September 1900, Paul Kruger left South Africa forever, and the knowledge of the gold may have died with those that buried it.
Annunaki gold that was found. My opinion. Annunaki gold that was known about by the royal bloodline. But they didn't know where it was. The amount doesn't make sense. If it was all mined they really broke records. That's why England send more than 400000 soldiers to South Africa.... And I still think there is still some Annunaki gold stashed in the RSA. Refined ready to go. And I think the Kruger national park is key to it. Was there Kruger millions. Definitely.
They are looking in the wrong place . It was moved by my grand father and family and buried in bottles my family some became billionaires. A wagon with bottles covered in lead was moved and buried. A town is now build on it. Too late to remove. This is a true story.
What are you doing . Talking about the Boer war but opening the video of British soldiers from WW2 . That is as far as I watched . If the rest of the video is like this it is not worth watching . Take a close look at my surname .
