My favorite stock is the regulator stock, which combines the stability of the retaliator stock, combines the utility of the modulus stock, and throws in a whole lot of extra nice ergonomics. WalcomS7 didn't mention the regulator stock simply because it didn't exist when this video went up.
Same! My regulator died on me (the electronics which I don't know how to fix), but I kept the stock and use it on my stryfe and pump-action retaliatory.
Dude! DUDE! This video is awesome. :D You made a topic discussion fun, interesting and raised and reasoned some actual points then moved on to the next with tight editing. Great work man.
It makes it more comfortable to hold a primary. For me anyway, many options we have as primaries just are more comfortable to use with stock due to how unbalanced a LOT of blasters are, and that's because these things are simple and not much in them. Like my favorite, the Demolisher is a VERY heavy blaster. Haha
There's a brand called newisland that makes knockoff nerf modulus stocks with an extra white bar in the middle. There's much less wobble and it fits perfectly on most nerf guns.
The best way to reinforce a modulus stock is to take a crossfire dart holder and attach that to the modulus stock. After this the stock will be reinforced and hold four more darts.
Personally, one of my favorite stocks is the praxis stock. It's super comfy, and not too wobbly to be unusable. I still occasionally still use my clear raider stock, though. Great vid !
I actually made my own stuff out of two chunks of 2 x 4 for the Mega rotofury. Loctite and J-B Weld helped to seal and create what looks to be a drum mag shotgun... it's awesome
In my opinion , 2 stocks are pretty interesing : Stockade Stock and Recon MK2 Stock . Both are " medium stock " , bigger than retaliator but still small among the biggest stocks . The MK2's stock , even if its sometime too small , display of a more simple design which make it more ergonomic . But if you want more in a stock , grab the stockade stock : The individual ammunition storage work both in mag-feed and turret-feed blasters .
The wobble on the modulus stock doesn't really matter, its not like you need to take care of recoil or anything, and it takes more force than adjusting your blaster an inch to the left while aiming to bend. the only time that it is annoying is if you are letting it rest on a wall and the stock bends while it has been up, which doesn't actually make a difference to the performance of the stock.
I actually like my recon stock. They're not overly flimsy, and unless you really put a lot of pressure on them while shouldering they don't bend. pretty light too.
He’s right at that point in time the mod stock was the best except for its flop, I think the best stock I have now is the regulator stock, it does the exact same thing and is really sturdy and comfy.
Even though I only have 2 stocks in total, I like the praxis stock, which although it isn't the most practical one, it fits my arms the best. plus, pretty rigid.
Great video! Bad choice for a stock! Lol. Raider/Worker Master Race. And the Blaster Stock is a great choice as well. The Modulus stock is super flimsy, and even if you take the time to fix it with PVC... It's still too short.
There are three reasons I'm glad I checked out this video. 1: That angry look when pointing out the disappointing recon style wobble on the modulus stock from this video's cameo. 2: The hack that I can now utilize should I ever purchase a modulus stock (or the whole blaster) 3: The cameo's glorious beard.
I was watching this with alright hopes, but when I noticed how seemingly enthusiastic he was, this became one of the best ranking videos yet. This was actually really fun as I want a good stock for, Non other than the Recon MKII, the gun he is using. And this helped a ton. Even if it is an old video. Also with the increase in household 3D printers, like my own. You can just download and 3D print a special attachment for your Modulus Stock that not only looks epic, but also makes it basically one Solid stock.
While I do think that with a bit of work, the Modulus stock would be great, but I think the 3DPrintedSolids Zungenbreacher is amazing right out of the box. Awesome length and very comfortable, and with the clip holding feature integrated into it. Simply put, it puts together everything that is great about the best Hasbro stocks can offer
In my opinion, if your older, lightning storm style stocks are best. If your younger, Stockade stock ( Or the stock than comes on the regulator ) and Retaliator Style stocks are best
I never get why people complain about the retaliator stock and praise the raider stock. When you adjust it to full length it’s only a tad longer than the retaliator’s one. You can argue against that but I’m five foot nine and it perfectly fits me. I would say just don’t choke up on it or angle your shoulder out because that reduces stability.
I recently found a chopstock in the discount isle at Walymart and put it on a tri strike that I picked up for 4 dollars at goodwill. Just needed a priming bar so I threw some old cabinet knobs on the sides and boom. It looks ridiculous as all hell, but it fits me and is pretty comfortable and fun to shoot.
As an alternative to the Modulus stock, I really like the 3dPrintedSolid "Zungenbrecher" stock. It's lengthy, comfortable, AND it has the option of storing a spare magazine in it if you want, but is entirely optional. It's not as cheap as the Modulus stock, but it's well worth the money. And since it's 3d printed, it can be bought in a variety of different colors
I like the modulus stock. My blaster set up has modulus stock with 18 round drum, another 18 drum inside the blaster, and 2 more 18 round drums on the sides with narrow base mag holders to attach into nerf rails. So total of 4 18 round clips on blaster
Nice vid, just one question: do u have a stockade stock? Seriously, that is one of the best stocks that are available. Comfy, dart holding, and extremely sturdy, it's easily one of the best
+Legoboy4924 I do, but it's just like the Lightning Storm stock; it's comfortable and that's about it. It holds excess darts but not mags making it less useful.
I do rather like the Modulus Stock and the wobble is an easy fix with either PVC like you showed or some epoxy putty. The fact their cheap is good too for budget NERFers.
I don't understand why people dislike the Retaliator stock. It's fine, it's not too short for me and it allows you to see if, say the retaliator is primed.
I recently purchased a modulus storage stock and I love it, I'm a child, so length really isn't an issue, I have modulus ecs 10 stock, I guess they must have upgraded it, because mine's little bars are kind of triangular and therefore more stable, I also own a retaliator stock, which fits me well, but I think that the extendable modulus storage stock is a good choice for anyone even if you don't really care about the so called "dart storage" which in reality is just a big hole in the back with a cap. If you use a barricade or a stockade, then the storage stock is perfect because it stores darts, not mags. But if you run a mag fed blaster, then the only use of the dart storage is for maybe a secondary. Overall, I think that a lot of people simply see the storage stock as a raider stock that's easy to find, but that's not a bad thing is it?
Soloution: retaliator stock too short or nerf modolous stock too flimsy? No problem. Just cut some of the retaliator stock and take out the nerf modolous stock magizine holder and glue the nerf modolous magazine holder to the retaliator stock and you've got the best stock in the world. I did it and I call it: the modoliator stock.
i use a demolisher stock on my ionfire, matches the cut out framework that is on the ionfire. helps for priming it as i have a chunky upgrade spring in it.
For the reason people like the revolver style of guns i like to use the stock from the stockade. Though it isnt permanent storage or something i would go into battle fully loaded with. And i carry a specter and maverick with 2 jolts so i dont need that much mags(24 shots in all my mags in my current load out). I like the raider stock better though.... Esthetic and function over comfort
Regulator stock is better in stock form (ha-ha) than the modulus stock. And personally, i think the TriStrike stock is pretty neat, especially if you have a blaster with a side rail
hey walcom I had an idea I thought of earlier I wanted to share.... what I did was I took 2 maverick slides and taped the together and saw it looked a lot like a Barret .50 cal flash suppressor..... I just thought it would look really cool on your BERSERK Longstrike
I like the recon stock, mostly because I don't have the modulus stock, but it can hold also the raider 35 round drum, may not be the most practical but it can still hold it
i actually use the demolisher stock because i modified the missile holder to fit an extra strongrm cylinder (my sidearm is a modified srongarm with swappable cylinders for faster reload)
I absolutely love the modulus stock and for those people who actually want something pretty there is a 3-D printed option available on thing averse and I know this comment is extremely late
i always thought that stocks were used (on nerf) when your spring load was really heavy so you primed it by pushing the plunger towards you and using the stock to help with that
My favorite stock is the regulator stock, which combines the stability of the retaliator stock, combines the utility of the modulus stock, and throws in a whole lot of extra nice ergonomics. WalcomS7 didn't mention the regulator stock simply because it didn't exist when this video went up.

Same! My regulator died on me (the electronics which I don't know how to fix), but I kept the stock and use it on my stryfe and pump-action retaliatory.
I about died laughing watching the Modulus swing back and forth like a dead fish (and that FACE). One video, and I subscribed!
I died at the part when wal slowly raised the cpvc pipe and the stock.

Bought the modulas blaster recently and they’ve changed the tubes on the stock to triangles, doesn’t wobble anymore 😁
Regulator stock fixes the modulus stock problem
Walcom! You are welcome! That was a great video, well worth the editing time and damn that reload was lightning!
The stockade stock do... not the most comfortable but I love it.
for me the lightning storm stock slides around in my shoulder but the stockade is longish, stable and comfortable (for me)
It makes it more comfortable to hold a primary. The best way to reinforce a modulus stock is to take a crossfire dart holder and attach that to the modulus stock.

The Regulator stock can hold mags and it's sturdy without any mods
This video was posted a year before the Regulator was even announced.

Wow, new format!
looks pretty good. Informative, to the point, enthusiastic...

I own a regulator stock and i love it its just comfortable for me and it holds any stick mag amazingly
Great video! Bad choice for a stock! Lol. Raider/Worker Master Race. And the Blaster Stock is a great choice as well. The Modulus stock is super flimsy, and even if you take the time to fix it with PVC... It's still too short.

Now we have the superior Regulator stock with no mods required and functionally the same as the ECS-10 stock
For the PVC pipe, try spraying with Tamiya Semi Gloss or Flat Clear spray can.
I love the new content walcom keep up the great work!!!
The Stockade has a great stock too. It seems to be just the right size, holds extra darts, looks fairly nifty, and is very, very solid.
And it was so good that Kohls put it in the Stryfe CS-18 Mission Kit, along with the Retaliators barrel and foregrip.
While I do think that with a bit of work, the Modulus stock would be great, but I think the 3DPrintedSolids Zungenbreacher is amazing right out of the box. +FireheartOfTheBlog Thank you so much. You've been here for a very long time, and I hope to keep you surprised as time goes on.
thank you so much ^^
The modulus stock was on some kind of unadvertised special recently at Amazon, so I've acquired a few.
+Bob O`Bob Yeah I got mine for $3.26 each, but they then doubled in price.
+WalcomS7 what's your favourite blaster?
CUBER X Right now? That Halo M6H pistol. It's like the only blaster I need right now.

I like the modulus stock. My blaster set up has modulus stock with 18 round drum, another 18 drum inside the blaster, and 2 more 18 round drums on the sides with narrow base mag holders to attach into nerf rails. So total of 4 18 round clips on blaster
My favorite weapon and combo for it: Elite Alpha Trooper with 12-dart magazine, Raider stock and Red Dot Sight.
Mines same blaster,stockade stock/regulator stock,pinpoint sight,and the spectre muzzle/silencer thing. Its a push fit so...👍🏻
You were already pretty funny, but now that I can see the hilarious expression on your face when you make a joke you're 90% more funny!
Nice vid, just one question: do u have a stockade stock? Seriously, that is one of the best stocks that are available. Comfy, dart holding, and extremely sturdy, it's easily one of the best

I know it was not out at the time of this video, but my favorite stock in the regulator storage stock
Excellent video mate ... Best one yet !! And greetings from sunny singapore
I personally think the stockade stock is the most comfortable
you can also store a 10-15 round banana mag in the recon stock, or an 18 drum. just my experience, take the advice if u want
that's why I use it a lot, but other stocks are still awesome
Really cool video man ^_^ Really enjoyed it :D
I don't understand why people dislike the Retaliator stock. It's fine, it's not too short for me and it allows you to see if, say the retaliator is primed.
I like the demolisher stock because it's comfortable, in a fixes position, and can hold a decent amount of darts in the "rocket" slot.
or a tactical snack
"Tactical *snack*"? You mean like something tactical to eat? 0_0
plus you can add it to the tri-strike to hold an extra rocket on the launcher..... just for lols of course.
Or vortex discs
I'm so happy I found this everybody says that the modulus stock is to flimsy I'm thinking re-inforce it,it can't be that hard
I recently purchased a modulus storage stock and I love it, I'm a child, so length really isn't an issue, I have modulus ecs 10 stock, I guess they must have upgraded it, because mine's little bars are kind of triangular and therefore more stable, I also own a retaliator stock, which fits me well, but I think that the extendable modulus storage stock is a good choice for anyone even if you don't really care about the so called "dart storage" which in reality is just a big hole in the back with a cap. i like the firefly stock, its not detatchable, but it feels like foam to me, and super comfortable. IT ALSO HOLDS 8 DARTS! :D
the firefly is my favorite blaster that i own because of the stock and how it kinda reminds me of the back of the gauss rifle from doom.
August 21st Update:
If the Modulus Stock is good back then a year ago, then the Regulator's stock takes the cake. NO WIGGLE!!!!! Lol
Regulator stock is the best one that nerf has made
Awesome Walcom thanks!
Well, now we have a better stock for the Modulus stock's purpose: the Regulator stock.
i use a demolisher stock on my ionfire, matches the cut out framework that is on the ionfire. helps for priming it as i have a chunky upgrade spring in it.
Nerf rapid strike stock :D

For the reason people like the revolver style of guns i like to use the stock from the stockade. Though it isnt permanent storage or something i would go into battle fully loaded with. I’ve always loved this video for pure genius
Well, you can't prime a super modified Retaliator without a stock right? That's another reason to have a stock, modded springers
Demolisher stock, it’s very stable without it being extremely gimmicky.
ok you are literally just an alternative universe version of me holy crap
you can shoot the stock blaster when you remove it from a blaster, dual wield, geddit?
Regulator stock is better in stock form (ha-ha) than the modulus stock. And personally, i think the TriStrike stock is pretty neat, especially if you have a blaster with a side rail
Aww yeah! NoBACoN in the house!
hey walcom I had an idea I thought of earlier I wanted to share.... what I did was I took 2 maverick slides and taped the together and saw it looked a lot like a Barret .50 cal flash suppressor..... I just thought it would look really cool on your BERSERK Longstrike
I love what you did with this!
I can get why you defend the tactical wobble on the modulous stock but we now have the regulator stock
You can fit an Alpha Trooper drum in a Recon stock, but it'll prolly get in the way of your firing hand.
When I was on Amazon buying a nerf stalk attachment, I bought the modules stalk rather then the strike and defend kit. And I like it better.
+TheStoneAxe 23 It's a good stock!
+WalcomS7 but I snapped my cousins on accident because I made a joke on how flexible it was, a lot of stuff has broken in my hands. (No pun intended)
The pvc mod to the modulus stock can be even better if you take it apart and paint it.
I like the recon stock, mostly because I don't have the modulus stock, but it can hold also the raider 35 round drum, may not be the most practical but it can still hold it
The Strike n Defend is my primary stock. It would be the Modulus once I get around to modding it with PVC.
I find most of my Nerf guns from the thrift stores and there better than spending 20-50$ for one instead I just buy them from thrift stores
I'm sorry, I just can't get over that fucking ending. Holy shit, was that damn funny.
I know you only reviewed stock Nerf shoulder stocks but 3DprintedSolid makes some very good stocks.
i actually use the demolisher stock because i modified the missile holder to fit an extra strongrm cylinder (my sidearm is a modified srongarm with swappable cylinders for faster reload)
Yay! I'm not the only one who LOVES the Crossbolt!
The Raider stock, the LightningStorm/Worker stock, and the Modulus blaster stock are my favorites.
My 3 fav boasters are The rival zuez, the rapid strike, and the air warriors snipe. Too bad none of them have stock attachments
Alsi if u want a better looking option for the stock and own a 3d printer you can print out renforcements that look good.
I absolutely love the modulus stock and for those people who actually want something pretty there is a 3-D printed option available on thing averse and I know this comment is extremely late
i'm a raider stock kind of guy, the clicking into place makes it extra tacti-cool lol
3:38 perfect for tactical reload compilations
What about Stockade stock? It's a longer retaliator stock and also holds 10 darts.
Nerf modulis regulator stock is really cool because it can hold any magazine and is firm.
Thank you so muchhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!....for giving the link for the nerf modulus stock,i was going to buy it for about 3 times the amount👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
i always thought that stocks were used (on nerf) when your spring load was really heavy so you primed it by pushing the plunger towards you and using the stock to help with that
Huh. I picked well. I like the Modulus stock. Of course, my other option in my armory is the Praxis stock (same jiggle, no mag port).
That Elite Dart encounter at the end. X3
