- A BRIT LOST IN TBILISI'S SUBURBS
Join me as we explore the suburbs of Tbilisi in Georgia.
We set out on an adventure and made our way from the suburbs to the old town of Tbilisi, with one rule, NO Technology.
Travelling as we would have some 20 years ago, I meet the locals and get directions to the old town.
We get to taste some amazing local foods and some surprisingly not-so-local foods as we end up in a most unexpected situation.

definitely, he needs to sing. When he speaks Russian in Tbilisi a slight Georgian accent is felt. he picks up the sound of Georgian and somehow starts speaking Russian with a Georgian accent. that means a good ear

At about 34:00 and after, was bicycle riding in Tblisi over where you were (when I was in Tblisi last winter). Towards the end of my bike ride I had to pedal up a few steep hills away from the Old Town. Fortunately, I had an e-bike. In Tblisi, it is needed with so many steep hills. Brings back pleasant memories of Tblisi watching this video.

I live in the same district and I didn't know there was a hostel for indians with an indian kitchen. This building is called as "three four" :) "444", for georgian it is "Sami Otkhi" ( 3 times 4) Sami Otkhi sounds like a georgian word "Samotkhe", wich means Paradise. This is the secret, why there is written "444" on the building ( if you noticed it there). Also, I want to give you an advice, as you already guessed, old generation don't speak english, so you can easily talk with them russian, they were born in USSR time and they know russian much better than english. Good luck.
