They actually have another trilogy of songs that forms a story. It's from their album Every Trick in the Book, and the songs are all based in books. It would be nice to see you react to these too.
The order is Communion of the Cursed (The Exorcist), Hell in the Hallways (Carrie) and The Nature of the Beast (Animal Farm).
totally agree. those are 3 of their best songs ever imo. that and "the greatest story ever told" as well as "the fastest way to a girls heart is through her ribcage"
Co-sign on this. Communion in particular might be their best video ever.
those songs are amazing, but i don't remember their music videos forming a story together, do they? pretty sure they're all separate
The stories in these three songs aren't really connected. Only one character from all three videos is the connection, and it's not part of the story.
Me, Myself, and Hyde (Jekyll and Hyde)
one of the most unique metal songs i've listened to lol. Ska metal. This is one of my favs off this album, behind Merry Axe-mas.
Merry Axe-Mas, I feel, is underrated. Fantastic song.
@@rockcash3148 Merry Axemas has the best breakdown on the album.
Merry axe-mas is my favorite song
INK actually started as a ska band :p glad they evolved into what they are today :)
@@eric_welch I would like to hear a ska version of this song from them
My son took me to see Ice Nine Kills for my Birthday last year. AMAZING show! These guys live are what happens when theater kids are talent musicians and horror fans. Spencer, the singer/song writer dresses as each character. Such a great show. Their non-movie/book based albums are also fantastic! Check out "The fastest way to a girls heart is through her rib cage"
You have a cool son!
@@scramblesthedeathdealer, yes, yes I do. He's been my concert buddy since his first concert in 2007, he was 12. Thank you.
@@brigettesummerfield2716That's awesome! My parents took me to my first concert in 1991... when I was 6. Rush: Presto Tour. It was awesome! I've actually seen quite a few shows with them... and a few with my mom since my dad passed away (Lynyrd Skynyrd and Eric Church), and she loaned me the money to see Korn with my brother in January (he's not a huge Korn fan, but he did introduce me to INK).
I feel kinda bad that my 17 year old son missed his first concert due to the pandemic (Green Day/Weezer/Fallout Boy)... but I'm taking him for his first tattoo next month!
@@scramblesthedeathdealer that AWESOME! Music is something that my son and I have always shared. His first show was My Chemical Romance back in 2007 and we are going to Aftershock next October for his Birthday and we get to see My Chem again. Plus, I finally get to see Parkway Drive all in one weekend. He and I have seen over 150 shows together. I also too my son for his first tattoo. We win parenting!
Just finished your series reactions! If you’d like to continue your journey with INK, some of my favorites I’d love to see you react to are “Rocking The Boat” (off of this album and based on Jaws), “Acceptance in The Waves”, “Let’s Bury The Hatchet... in Your Head”, and “The Fastest Way to a Girl’s Heart... is Through her Ribcage”. They rock at song titles. 😂
They really gdo
I just watched the whole 5 videos you uploaded. It was an absolute joy, I didn't know them before and had the exact same thoughts as you about this!
If you want another short film with music videos try The Amity Affliction : The songs are D.I.E., Feels like I'm Dying and Doomsday. But don't know the order :D
You'll like it!
those AA songs are very hit or miss with people. some people really like them, but a lot of hardcore fans hate that entire album
@@theseanie9958 yes I can see why. It's very melancholic music but from a musical perspective it's definitely worth it!
they acctually recorded this video at canobie lake in New hampshire my uncle is one of the ride mechanics there and got too see all this shit happen! such a cool band!
That’s fucking dope. So you got to meet the band?
Finally finished watching all of your reactions of The Silver Scream! 🔥
This is my fav song by them! I’m so glad you did all of the songs plus the videos! And you uploaded them all at the same time! 🙌🏼 Appreciate u taking your time reacting to this whole “mini show”! 🤩
He forgot Merry Axe-mas. 😔
I love that the last few notes that played as Spencer went into the new psychiatrist office was a slowed down part from there new song Hip to be Scared, just like the slow song that played whenever The Silver Screams title came up was American Nightmare
Appreciate you doing the whole series. INK is my favorite band and I love seeing people discover them. There was one other video that (kind of?) ties into this series. It’s called Merry Axemas. It’s easily in their top 3 heaviest songs ever, maybe even their heaviest.
I've been listening to this song since it was released on the album along with the music video and it's previous parts.
Even if Will Salazar of Fenix TX along with Buddy Schaub & Peter "JR" Wasilewski of Less Then Jake weren't featured in the song it would still be great! But those dudes being in the song made it perfect!
Can't wait to see what INK does for the next album. I hope they do horror movies again but perhaps have songs about the underrated or lesser known horror movies. Haven't thought about what movie they can base songs off of but I'd like to see them do one of Fear Clinic. Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour was in that movie so I was thinking perhaps Corey Taylor could be featured in a INK song about Fear Clinic. If that happened the song and the music video would be amazing. Probably would be heavier, creepier and darker then the entire album for The Silver Scream especially cause that movie is really dark and creepy.
The clowns name in IT, is Pennywise
You should also watch the lyric video for "Your Numbers Up"
Spencer needs an award for the acting
Side note can we admire the PSU banner and Sixers jersey
You missed one of the songs, Merry Axe-mas came before this one
This was part 5. I'll get to merry axe mas but I wanted to do the parts in order first
@@Hoopsick yeah, but this video came out after merry axe-mas.... at the end of axemas it even says "part 5 coming spring 2019"
@@Hoopsick they wouldnt put that at the end of merry axemas if they werent including it in the series, that would be dumb
This is the other one in my top 3 favorites by them. Its weird and a little corny but its done so well! If you get some time or just want to check out more by them they actually have a ton more based on other horror movies. My favorite off this album is called The Jig Is Up (based on saw) some other good ones are Communion Of The Cursed (based off the exocist), Me, Myself & Hyde (based on Jeckel and Hide), and Hell in The Hallways (based of Carrie). Glad you got to see the whole story though dude awesome reactions!
*Jekyll and Hyde
Ice nine kills communion of the cursed please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘👹
You definitly should check out the jig is up by these guys. One of my favorite break downs by any band. Trully well done.
I definitely will. Since I already heard 6 songs I downloaded the album, but I need to react to the rest of the videos before I listen to rest of it
@@Hoopsick ahhhh right on man!
Btw i really enjoy your channel. Also, i had some great laughs, as it's obvious you don't enjoy horror movies lol
Hoopsick Reacts also rocking the boat is one of my favorites. It is based off the movie Jaws.
Spencer is actually a better actor than that therapist dude
Thank you for doing this series!!!!!
Has to be one of my all time favorite albums. So well written and catchy.
You forgot Merry Axe-mas. 😢😔
This series is amazing. The quality of the story, the acting, along with the banging music. I can't remember the names but you should check their songs about Carrie and also there's one or two songs about the exorcist. I think you would really like them.
Just like Georgie it’s all out of hand 😂😂 that is a clever line
9:53 is spencer as a creepy thing
IT is the reason I am afraid of clowns... at 36 years old still... you gotta watch the movies, and the old series. Pennywise (the clown) are truly horrific
where have I heard this before....every metalcore bands. Video is good. Music....nah
If you like this song you will like The Greatest Story Ever Told by i9K
I love ice nine kills! 😊 i just watched every reaction. I definitely think you should check out. Merry axemas( about silent night, deadly night) , The Jig is up( about saw) and your numbers up(came out on their deluxe edition to the album and its about scream) :)
That end piece right after the final scene when the text comes in with the uneasy violin music, that part always gives me goosebumps. I absolutely love the uncertain, suspenseful vibe it gives.
Dude in black was the guy he sold script to follow in black
I would like, but its at 666likes dont want to mess with it
‘IT’s’ name is Pennywise mate
Or just IT
Wait some one told you Savages was a bad song? Stop it
fuck he didn't see the last 5 seconds xD
Just watched all of these.
Thank you🤘
They were awesome. I loved it
@@Hoopsick ur welcome
Pennywise the dancing clown that’s actually an evil cosmic space demon is the character from the novel and movie IT
This song is so fckin sick man, i love it
Now this is music you can skank to (as in the type of dance you do when listening to ska). Members of the ska-punk band Less Than Jake join the band here on horns. It really fits because Ice Nine Kills began as a ska band. There's also a live version of this song with members of the amazing Reel Big Fish instead. I hope this brings ska music back to some popularity. Also, the story's not over. There's going to be a comic book sequel co-written by the band.
z2comics.com/blogs/z2-universe/z2-comics-and-ice-nine-kills-bring-the-silver-scream-to-the-printed-page-for-inked-in-blood
I’ve Nine Kills is one of my favorite bands since I’m a horror fiend, on their previous album which was inspired by famous books they did awesome songs based on Carrie, the Exorcist,Animal Farm,Dracula,Alice,Romeo and Juliet,Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde,
Definitely react to Merry Axemas And rocking the boat, also yeah your thing about “scary” clowns not being scary is why I don’t really care for the newer IT he looks too scary to actually have been a good clown. What made Tim Curry scary as silly as the original got, he was a good clown and he was genuinely inviting to kids. That’s what scared kids about him. The new pennywise was too scary for him to work as an inviting clown that would draw kids to him.
Have you heard of Periphery? You should check them out! Amazingly creative progressive metal. 'Reptile' is 17 min long. That could be interesting :D
To be honest, his clown looks less like Pennywise and more like Sweet Tooth from the Twisted Metal games, wearing Pennywise’s clothing.
Orbit Culture please, they got a 3-part trilogy from their upcoming album. Nensha, Rebirth and The Shadowing. The last song of the three, The Shadowing, is my favorite.
Funny thing is, I was listening to this song before I went to lunch now I'm watching your reaction. I love this song so much, but I am TERRIFIED of clowns, heheheh.
Edit: this is my very first video of yours that I have watched
Hello Hoopsick my suggestion is Band called Rise of the Northstar and the song is here comes the boom I hope you liked and react
Is a hardcore band with influences of Japanese culture
I have seen the original it with Tim Curry, I was so afraid because I hate clowns, so I was so scared until the end of the film and I was like what the actual f***.
The first time I heard this song I nearly lost my mind it's so amazing
The songs all get better the more that you know about their movie counterparts. Basically every line is relevant to the source material in some way.
PS: I wouldn't complain if you just finished off the album js
I don't know if you've already done a reaction video for the song Popular monster by Falling in Reverse I can't seem to find it if you did but if you haven't I would love to see what you think of that song and video.
You didn’t watch the prologue video for the song Merry Axemas
Alright, watched them all. Liked them all. Here’s more like it for you to check out: Imminence - Infectious / InVisions - Memoriam / Hawk - Mileage / Cipher Sight - Icons Crown looking forward to the next videos man, keep them coming!
My #1 favorite song off the Silver Scream album! Totally love love love love it! Rock on fellow Ice Nine fans! 🤘🏽
Next one should be Enjoy Your Slay(based off of The Shining). Great song
Love how their music is theme based. Reminds me of Bury your Dead, and their albums being themed as well.
IT Pennywise
I9x is one of my favorite bands ever. The girl in all his videos is Spencers wife. The vocalist
Great reaction! Definitely one of my favourites off the album, this song is a masterpiece - the lyrics are genius, who would've thought this would work as a metalcore song, but it does. Communion of the Cursed from their previous album is another favourite.
I was at that show they are amazing live was one of them holding him up in the crowd recommend seeing them live
🔥🔥🔥🔥🖤🤘🏻
That receptionist is a hottie, I have a thing for redheads
At 2:00 I heard "Your mind goes to the donkest places"
One of the best parts of the songs on The Silver Scream is that the band incorporates music and sounds from the movies that each song is about
your numbers up of the same album probably has on of the most creative ideas for a lyrics video :)
😍😍😍😍😍
I don't think 'Savages' is the worst song they have made.

Comment number 69 your welcome 🙏🏻
Still convinced he sold his soul to get that voice
Cringe inducing 😄
Communion of the cursed????
Love your reactions dude!
True genius
love this band!!
Best song 👌👌
Am I the only one who noticed that the pun of the album's name seemed to go over his head?
