I've been using a C-330 for over 40 years -- it was my first pro camera when I opened shop in the mid 70's. Thank you so much!

Yea, I do enjoy the hypnotizing midwestern drawl and experience driven repair lessons. I kid you not, the confidence to tear into my own cameras grows with every video of yours that I watch & rewatch. I know I have not seen every repair video out there, but of what I have seen, your videos are the most comprehensible and the lighting and camera always work to show whatever the dialog explains. You truly have a gift.
I use a Nikon FM as my main film camera and a D3400 for digital. I have ten or so Nikons that need working on (that were eBay purchases from about 15 years ago) starting with a couple Nikkormats up to an FE. Am I correct in believing that the older models will be better to learn on? Still tooling up and hope to acquire some JIS crosspoints soon as all my small drivers are Philips. Though I have MacGyvered a flat into a two-bladed JIS as I play around with some point-and-shoots. When I start tackling old stuck screws I will need the real deal.
Thanks again for doing all these. Hoping people start learning how to Fix Old Cameras and schools start teaching this stuff again.

Hello, quick question please. I have a very clean example of the C220-f. The focusing mechanism is just a tad bit loose. When extending the bellows, the lens board wants to spring back about 1/2 inch. Of course I can hold the focusing knob so that it doesn't move, but ideally, I'd like to be able to tighten up the friction on focusing mechanism. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How do you like the camera? I'm new to film photography and this was the first camera I bought even before a 35mm. I have a few cameras now and the c330 is still my favourite. The hype will be back for it, I'm sure of it.

Hi and Happy New Year. It's nice to see a new video and better yet, one about a TLR. I am slowly recovering from my hospitalization in 2020. I cannot walk 100% but it's a slow process. I'm still enjoying my camera collecting, repairing hobby. By the way do you have a source for thin bladed screwdrivers? I grind down Whia's but I'd rather tackle those thin Japanese slotted screws with a proper screwdriver. Have a great year, and best wishes to all your subscribers. Tom (recuperating in Arizona

So good to hear you are some making progress. Moody makes solid and reasonably priced bladed screwdrivers. Maybe the get the magnetic handle and blades .040" - .055" - 1.00 for starters. Although sizing a Whia screwdriver with a sharp file is a good option too.

Mine has the same issue where it doesn't auto stop and the counter doesn't advance, I'm wondering is the gear on that tiny metal pipe supposed to move loosely? Or is it supposed to stay still? I'm wondering if the gear isn't catching on the film with the teeth and doesn't spin the metal piece to advance the counter

Informative. I know it will be hidden again, but wow you really scratched up the body of that camera getting the leatherette off. Seems like a plastic tool and a little more patience with some solvent would result in a cleaner removal.
