    Perfect example of how crossovers work. Different capacitors have different cutoff frequencies, and adding or removing them produces the desired high or low frequency roll off.

    You have a much smaller cap in the beginner hence it only plays high frequencies. U added 2200uf, it is much like letting the fullrange pass through, hence it is not gaining bass, you just let the speaker plays what is supposed to sound originally

      @@gdart9521you would want an inducter then to cut off the highs. Capacitors cut off the lows.

    This is how we do

  • @kabevis1
    @kabevis1 2 года назад +3

    Or just bypass the high frequency capacitor that is restricting the full range.

  • @justinhiggins2210
    @justinhiggins2210 2 года назад +6

    Just eliminating the effect of the first cap, crossover. Bringing it back to full range, power.

  • @BroVCam
    @BroVCam 5 месяцев назад

    So for example; if you have a standard 2-way crossover with the high pass (which is meant for a tweeter) connected to a full range capable driver and you run an in-line capacitor made for full range frequencies, it will bypass the tweeter frequency? My reason for asking is because I am trying to share a 3.5" driver and a 2.75" driver on the same amp channel, wanting midrange/fullpass frequencies on both and I can't find a dual midrange crossover! Any input is greatly appreciated!

    Es normal que haga eso y cambio de frecuencias por qué tienes puesto un capacitor para frecuencias agudas que inhibe todas las frecuencias bajas y al cambiar de repente el capacitor de 2200 microfaradios pues hace ese cambio de repente quita quita el capacitor pequeño que tienes ahí de color verde y ponlo directo que es cuando se nota el cambio qué es lo que queremos saber realmente
