The rail on the bottom won’t hold the weight of the rifle if you add a very large scope especially, they put 2 screws holding that little piece of rail to the rifle. They should have put 4 in it. My 22 inch version has the fill port in a better place on the receiver part of the rifle. You can get an upgrade kit for the rifles that have only the rear fill port so you can add a fill port to the front of the front tank.
Is it possible to order a 22 inch barrel separately if i bought the 15inch model so you can have both barrels? It would be nice to have the longer barrel for hunting and the short barrel for home defense.
lol thats actually beens,,, it might give you one shot at 6 or 700 fps... just considering the headspace in my crossman was extended to 60cc..and if I pump that up , I get a single shot around 500 fps... there's an aitgun design tool lets ya figure it out....
The 22 inch barrel version with the 600 cc air storage will shoot 2 full clips, the last 4 of those have slowed down substantially, but would be lethal at closer ranges. The barrels length makes the last shots viable, the 15 inch loses power much faster and seemed to be more of a one mag gun if that makes sense. This is based on watching multiple videos of them being demoed then comparing the two rifles that way. I went with the 22 inch version. I don’t have a chronograph to test velocity and speed. I ordered a 457 , but someone mistakenly sent me a 50. I’m hoping these things are still barrel switch friendly like they first claimed, 357 is what i originally wanted , but didn’t want to wait till those were released. If I can’t switch barrels without a ton of trouble and aggravation, I’m going to buy a 357 And I’ll have a set I guess. The 22 inch version in 50 gives you a full mag worth , 8 rounds you can put on target, I don’t know what the velocities are , I used an inch to an inch and a half of holdover at 50 yards to keep the last 4 in the sweet spot on the target. I may invest in a chrono , haven’t decided yet, the good ones run fairly high. I’m picky and I was pissed when that rifle showed up and was 50 cal instead of 457, not so much that I was willing to ship it back and then wait on another one to show up though. I didn’t have ammo for it till the other day, now I don’t mind that it’s a 50 cal so much, still would have preferred the 457. It is what it is though. I’m wondering if using lighter weight slugs in the last 4 spots in the mag might make it shoot flatter as you loose pressure firing all of them. I’m currently waiting on 2 additional slugs at different weights, I started with 235 grain, I ordered some 300 grain and some 185 grains.
My Aunt lives there LoL. Just my opinion but I would like to see this in 22 caliber and an adjustable stock and cheek rest. One air tube. If I want something more powerful I'd have a powder burner. Again just my thoughts. Thanks for the review though!!!
