Let's talk about how Lee was a horrible friend and boyfriend but always blamed Elle. Like she has to plan her whole life around him an the rules. Like I get their best friends but that's still not okay. And then he let his girlfriend be mad at his friend cause he didn't have the balls to set healthy boundaries and making it seem like Elle was the one always trying to interfere in their relationship. He's a liar and a manipulator and yet he still gets the girl.

Also I think she is quite mature for a high school student, she have been lied to by her boyfriend so she would obviously think that elle didn't want to give them space purposely (in that situation one might actually think elle is tryna mock you or sabotage your relationship with your boyfriend) and her boyfriend ain't any better in that regard, he tell her how much he like her but he forget to inform her important things and forget their meeting and plans sooo if its real life honestly we won't take such shit either unless we are really really dumb, not saying the other party is bad but the situation itself isn't favourable at all to anyone of them
I totally agree! I hated Lee in this entire movie. He was a liar and coward. Making his girlfriend be mean and rude to his bestfriend cause he didn't have the balls to tell her that he needed time alone with his girlfriend. Which I think Elle would have totally understood. Rachel has been through so much. When she arrived at the prom with a different costume than Elle and Lee I almost cried cause imagine the embarrassment and the hurt. I would have broken up with him right there and then.
