Honestly, i think all three books together read more as one whole book and the splits in the books are odd but they definitely kept me on the edge of my seat! I’m partially through the third right now and I am realizing that (almost) everything you said is resolved in the later books but totally respect that that is not some peoples preference! I for sure would be annoyed if all three were not already out!

Oh, that’s so interesting! Maybe I do need to read the next two books in one go (I have the 2nd book already). Thank you for the tip!

I love this review! And I agree with every single thing you said. A lot of it were things I didn't pick up on because I was heavily invested on a lot of other things. Like you said at the end, the world building really carried the weight of all the other issues that it ultimately didn't really bother me nor diminished the fun for me. But I love everything you pointed out.
I honestly did not noticed the spelling mistakes or if I did I already forgot about it.
I agree a lot about the switching in narration. I wish it wasn't as often. Every 3 chapters or so would have been good.
The multiple PoV really would've opened up a lot of other options for the story but it would have completely changed the style the author was going for I think. I mean, I would really love seeing multiple PoV but I did like how the narration showed how contrasting the older vs the younger Tea is in term of thought process and I think that would've been lost if we had multiple PoV. Now if this was written as an adult fantasy though...

      Thank you!
You make a very good point, multiple POVs would’ve taken away from seeing Tea’s development over the years-I never thought about it that way! ✨
Yes! Honestly, those are my feelings exactly-the “issues” did not, for one second, take away the fun I had reading TBW! 💜

After watching this I feel like I know enough and can jumpstart from the second book in the series. Or do you think its still worth reading the first?
