Winner of a video, been searching for "what do the houses mean in a birth chart?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Riyharlotte Cerebral Rule - (search on google ) ? It is an awesome one off product for discovering how to discover your destiny using your cosmic natal chart without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my brother in law got great results with it.

25 years ago, a fellow and I had a discussion about the birth chart and he felt it was worthless as well as other thoughts. I ask for his birth info and that night after dinner, I went to work. What the computer came up with I couldn't agree with ( I had known him for a couple of years by then/)
I began tweaking the acedent until a person emerged I reconized.
That weekend he arrived at the set time and I asked him if he was adopted.
He went home and had a talk with hid parents. They told him yes and where did he get his correct birth info. There were two days differene. Done so to prevent him from discovering who his birth mother was.
I was almost 5 minutes off but the day of birth was two days difference.

It's so refreshing to see someone actually explain every aspect to reading a chart and the different systems instead of just spouting off the jargon as if it's automatically known. In a significant amount of the videos I've run into they don't even explain the differences in systems

If I am reading my sidereal chart correctly.... (and I have no idea whether I am because I am totally new to astrology) it says I'm a triple Pisces, which is quite different from my 'original' Aries Sun, Pisces Moon, Aries Ascendant. I've always felt closer to Pisces than Aries anyway. This is fascinating - thank you!

Thank you for explaining the difference between Tropical and Sidereal Astrology. I am originally Indian and have always found the Indian Horoscope readings uncannily accurate. Now I know why. So far I have done my chart via Tropical (not knowing there were two systems) and reading the Uranus, New Moon in Taurus based on the Tropical. DUH. Start from square one again as Rising, planet positions et all are so different and it changes everything! Thank you my learning has improved. That is priceless.

Hi Arizbeth, the chart ruler is the ruler of your Ascendant. So if your Ascendant is Gemini then Mercury is your ruler.

I still don't understand the relationship between houses, signs and planets. Could someone help me?
Each component (houses, signs, and planets) are showing a different dimension of a person's life..
The houses are showing the "areas" of life such as the person's relationship life, work life, etc.
The signs show the "qualities" that come through those areas of a person's life. For example if you had Leo inside your 2nd house of financial life.. the qualities of playfulness, passion, etc. (Leo qualities) would come through you financial life and be how you approach that area.
The planets show the specific "experiences" in your life. So if you have a lot of planets in a particular house or sign, those areas and qualities will be very strong in your life. Especially the houses and signs of your Sun, Moon, and Ascendant ruler.

very good for dummies guide and exceptional graphics and instructions. however one thing that baffles me are retrogrades. all my planets after jupiter are on the bottom of the chart and in retrograde while the other planets are above and not retrograde. maybe you can make some instructions about understanding retrogrades or another pdf ? ... hmm still gotta get you to look at my chart one day, so complicated :p

Hi Rohan, I don't usually impose myself on another fellow astrologers' YouTuibe . . . but there is a book out there to help you - in detail and in depth: " Retrograde Planets: Traversing the Inner Landscape." by Erin Sullivan (Oh, and it isn't contradictory to either sidereal Or tropical astrology . . . that is why it is published in India!! It is all about the SUN and the planetary relationship, and retrograde times/periods and what they mean . . . Indian / vedic astrologers love it, because it has no sign!!! It is about motion, and what it means . . . .

What does it mean when your mars & moon conjunct the ascendant? I have a hard time "faking it" but they are also in my 12th house, am I in trouble? I do things that piss ppl off 😯
It's an interesting combination because the elements are so different from each other.
First of all in the 12th it's very important for you to be receptive as you can. Both with your experiences and interactions. Mars gets a lot done here through detachment and going with the flow (as best as you can).. the Moon here requires listening to your intuition and getting your space/alone time.
Regarding the ascendant. You also need to be independent and doing your thing. The key is bringing extra attention to your ego/personal needs/desires as to keep them balanced. As you connect emotionally, receptively, yet directly you've found the healthy balance of these qualities.

wow - this was fantastic - pretty much what I've been looking for.
I am practicing prof astrology for many years ( as my nick here suggests). This video is by any means NOT a way of reading the chart, but it is explaining to unaware public how prof astrology works in a very simplified and logical way and should be taken only as such. Consider it like explaining the High Math or Astrophysics main principles to a high school level kids.
